Any Robotech/Macross fans

i'm wondering Robotech was the first ever anime i saw and as such probably my all time favourite. I was just wondering if anyone else enjoys any of the series movies

yeah they've done a few movies done under the Macross name, they are pretty good

Robotech was the original series i believe and is more dated compared to Macross which is what the new series/movies are called.
I don't have a favourite out of the 2 i prefer Robotech because it's the original so you can see how things started with both the Macross and the veritech fighters, while macross i like cos they use much more advanced veritechs and the animation is much better.

Umm... Macross is the original series. Robotech is actually a collection of three separate anime (Super Dimension Fortress Macross; Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross; and Genesis Climber Mospeada) that were combined to form one show intended for release to the US audience.
I just remembered, I already said this in another topic. Oh well...

My only experience with Macross/Robotech is Macross 7 which was ridiculous, and Macross II Lovers Again (or something like that) which was quite good I thought. Not qualified to make an overall statement on the series, but from what I have seen I would say it is interesting, and is a decent alternative to Gundam.

ROBOTECK is A COOl game but it was way too easy, and the graphics they were very nice, i loved they, i dont think that they will make a moive

Robotech will remain my all time most favorite Mecha series. Hey what person wouldn't want a transforming plane.

BTW have any of you seen the prequel series called Macross 0? This is has to be the best CG work i have ever seen for an anime series. it's only 5 episodes though. And good old Roy Foker is in it. It is a must see for any Robotech fan. WARNING!: Absolutly not for children!!!!! As it has both full frontal and butt nudity, bloddy battle senes, and the vilolent death of 6 children in it.
