i just finished reading books 7 & 8...i finally starting to catch up^^
my question is how come no one noticed that asuna summoned the sword instead of the fan when she thought she was saving negi from the *kung fu fighting* sharks

The reason is becasue She hasn't mastered her card's power yet. You know to use it to her full potential. So right now it comes out depending on her mood. If it's an average fight it will be a fan, but when things get desperate it turns into a sword sometimes. That's what get her butt DQ from the fighting turnament in volume 12 (which is being worked on now).

Oh come on! you need to read on! Sure it has fanservice forthe guys, but it has a cute and romatic story for the girls! Although Volume 6 was a HUGE let down. It pretty much sucked so you can just skip that one.

It was the 6th and yes her battle was "cool" but that was all that was the only good thing about that volume. The part where Nodoka get's turned into stone just sucked every last drop of fun right out of that volume.

There have been plenty of people on his fan BBS saying that He needs to go back and redo it. And i totally agree.

Well it's not just Nodoka fans who hated it and want hiom to redo the volume. There have been plenty of Asuna, Setsuna, Makie, and other girl fans that want him to redo Volume 6.
