i walk around and dont see the clif and i slip off of it, i scream its a long fall, but its a narrow space between the 2 legdes, so i cant take my wings out, i scream and still fall

Drgn heard Raina scream. He could tell it was her voice. Only Raina screamed like the when she was in danger...only Raina. He bolted out the door, "Sorry Carrie...I'll be back soon and we can meet properly!" He yelled as he jetted to where he heard the scream. "Raina!" He yelled as he jumped down the cliff. He saw her footprints in the sand on the edge of the cliff. Drgn could see Raina falling, so he slid down the side of the cliff. As he got far enough down, he began to run down. When he was just under Raina, he extended his arms and caught her. He almost fell from the pressure of Raina's body, but he held himself as strong as he could.

They were about halfway down the mountain now. "Raina...are you alright? Did you get hurt?" Drgn stopped asking, knowing Raina was invincible. He smiled and let her down. "Raina...we should climb up the side of the mountain. Just take quick jumps and we should get back up." Drgn began to jump up the mountain, waiting for Raina to follow.

Shiori gave out a shudder as soon as the scene changed. Even the temperature felt cold. "Alright...I can do this," she murmured, closing her eyes and listening for anything approaching. It wasn't long until there was something comming, and Shiori gripped her weapon tightly as she opened her eyes slightly. "From all sides..." she said quietly, nodding. "Though I don't know what they are yet...I have to wait until they come slightly into view..."

The grunts were slowly comming into view, still making a racket. They saw that her eyes were still closed, so they decided to take that moment to attack her, though they left a few others behind in case the girl were to actually take them out. They came closer, stopped for a few seconds, then ran at Shiori with battle cries and weapons swinging wildly.

Shiori smirked some, hearing and seeing them now. Since she now knew their height, she brought her weapon to her mid body, then held it outwards with one hand. Smirking, she turned on her heel and took out the grunts that hadn't managed to jump up in the air to attack her yet, in one sweep of a circle. She quickly managed to raise her weapon just in time to block the air attacks of the grunts that came down on her, pushing them away.

One of the grunts that she hadn't managed to block, brought his dagger down, tearing the flesh on her back in a diagnol cut.

Shiori held back a cry of pain and jumped into the air, landing behind the grunt that had injured her. The grunt didn't have any time to think before she took his head from his shoulders. She knew that she wasn't done yet, though. There were still three more that she had blocked.

The three grunts backed away, as if trying to debate on what to do next. They suddenly howled, to call the ones that had stayed behind, then they went at Shiori once again.

Shiori prepared herself again, blood spilling down her back and staining the snow. The injury was deep, but far from fatal, so there was no reason for her to stop the fight. When the grunts attacked Shiori again, she laughed and each of the three individually, because she knew that she could handle just three if they came to attack her. However, she didn't know reason behind the howl, and had no idea that there were five more grunts comming. Sighing, she set her weapon on the ground, leaning against it.

The grunts that were comming for Shiori now weren't making any sound at all, so they were easily able to sneak behind the girl without her knowing. When they were within a few feet of her, they lunged at Shiori. The girl hadn't managed to notice them in time to block them.

Shiori cried out this time when she was injured. Between the five grunts, three new wounds were given. She recieved a cut down the side of her head, another cut starting at her thigh and ending at her knee. The last one, however, was the most devistating of all towards her. A spiked ball and chain had slammed hard into her chest, causing her to fall to the ground in agonizing pain. She bit her lip and grabbed the chain, using all of her stength to pull the spiked ball out of her chest, gasping at the pain.

The grunts laughed, but the one with the ball and chain stopped quite abruptly when the girl managed to get the ball out of her chest, and gave a powerful jerk on the chain, making the holder fall flat on his face. He scrambled up, letting go of the chain.

Shiori was back on her feet, panting and trying to ignore the pain she was feeling. Somehow, she managed to find the strength to run at them, even with her injured knee. She took out the one who had held the ball and chain, since he seemed stunned at the fact that she had just grounded him. She then proceeded to block more of the attacks comming at her. Her eyes were shinning red once again, her dragon side furious. How she took out the other grunts, she didn't know, for everything was like a blur. At first, she didn't think she had hit them.

The four remining grunts stared, knowing how they were killed. One of them fell to the ground, after the wound opened up in his neck. Two others didn't die right away, having their bellies cut open. Soon, they feel dead to the ground. The other had minor injuries, but that soon changed as the girl was suddenly in front of him, bringing her scythe down his middle.

Shiori just stared at her work for a while before she smiled lightly, letting out a sigh and falling to the ground, the blood loss managing to finally catch up to her.

Marth ran over to the arena door, devistated. He knew Shiori would be fine, but he couldn't handle it. "OPEN THE DOOR, OLD MAN!!" Marth shouted, looking back to to Dongo. "DAMNIT!" Marth punched the door, smashing it to pieces. Within the second, Marth was on the ground beside Shiori. He lifted her into his arms, and held her close to himself. He wiped the blood from the side of her head, and kissed her forehead. "Shiori, you idiot." Marth smiled. He lifted Shiori and brought her out of the arena. He layed her in a bed. He put a hand on her bleeding chest. He could feel the pain that she was in. It hurt Marth more that it was hurting Shiori. He kept a vague smile on his face, knowing that she would be ok, but he knew she was in pain.

[Chibi-chan]

Shiori looked at Marth, managing to smile, even though it was a pained one. "Hey...At least...I'm not...close to death..." she managed to get out, her voice sounding weak. A bit of blood was running down her mouth. Her chest was the thing that had really seemed to hurt her the most. She was just thankful that the spikes weren't all that long, otherwise she might be dead or pretty close to it. "Sorry I hurt you..." she added after a moment, closing her eyes. She knew that Marth was in pain because she got hurt. She knew because she was in agonizing pain when she had seen him close to dead.

About to extend her hand as well to Drgn her head yanked as she could hear the scream pulse through her ears. Watching Drgn take off she nodded at his words and understood. Standing thier a bit dumfounded she quickly looked over to Haldir and smile, making her way back over to him. One thing that Drgn said though constantly ran through her mind.. questioing if she should even follow them in the travels. She couldn't fight, simple as that. She knew a big of priestess remedies and cures but that was about it. The elder passed away before she could really teach her anything. Carrie let out a little sigh, she did not want to be protected by everyone.. she would only burden them.
Smiling to Haldir she took a seat next to him and watched as the hawk left her shoulder. Interested in the languages she looked to him with her blue gaze and tilted her head wanting to know more. "What languages do you know though.." she asked in a soft yet curious tone.

Marth smiled, and hugged Shiori. He made sure he didn't put too much pressure on he chest. "It's alright." He said, still holding her. "I'm just glad you're ok." Marth gently put his hand on Shiori's face, and wiped the blood coming from her mouth. He was so happy to see that she would be alright. He knew all along that she was in no real danger, but to hear her speak was so comforting. "I won't ever let this happen to you again Shiori." Marth's smile was fading slowly, but he was still overjoyed to see her safe.

Haldir smiled as she asked him about the languages again. "Well i know elvish, sutarian, english, some orcish, and a trow taught me some of their language," he said thinking of the languages. He was from sutaria and could speak very well in english and elvish. "Listen if you dont want to join us thats fine but if you did i would look after you and mabey teach you some fighting skills," he said noticing from before the worry on her face.

Looking to him her eyes widedned and she smiled brightly. "Would you really?" she asked in an excited tone. Never once has she been taught to fight and she would defiantly grab the offer if it was sincere. Smiling brightly to him she raised her right hand to her hair, her finger interlacing with her curls she tossed her hair behind her shoulder. Her blue eyes wide and happy.. he said he would protect her.. No one had ever been so kind to her. Arching her back forward she pressed her torso forward in a small stretch, her lower back giving a few crackling pops.

"I would teach you everything i know and i might beable to get amazon to help," he said smiling. Haldir was willing to help her learn how to fight and would also protect her from harms grasp. He would even sacrifice his own life if it protected her. "Here take theses," he said taking off his two short swords and hand them to her. "Lets go outside amazon if you want ot join us come outside," he said getting up and walking outside.

Looking to haldir she smiled brightly, her face bright with happiness and axcitement. Taking the swords she blinked a little, never even really touching one before. Blinking a little she quickly moved up to her feet, following Haldir outside. Continueing to hold the swords she tilted her head to the right and studied them. Keeping to Haldirs heels, her skirt flowed behind her as they walked, her big blue eyes taking in the swords features then taking in Haldirs movements.

Shiori smiled a bit, though she didn't open her eyes. She felt quite exhausted at the moment, and it was all she could do to just stay awake. "Sorry that I...broke my promise," she said to him, remembering that she had told Marth that she'd only get a few scratches and nothing more. The wounds were far from just scratches. Most of them would be scars after they healed. Especially the ones on her leg and back.

Marth just hugged Shiori, and continued to smile. "It's alright." Marth said, as he let go of Shiori. "I'll let you rest. You need it." Marth said smiling. He just sat on the floor next to the bed. 'I won't leave you Shiori... I will never leave your side.' Marth closed his eyes.

Haldir looked back to see her examining the swords which made him smile slightly. "Alright first lessen draw your swords and get in a fighting stance," he said drawing his sword and showing her the elven fighting stance. "You might want to strap the swords onto your back he said noticing she still had them in her hands. He walked over to her and helped them into a comfortable position to wher she can draw them with ease.

Shiori nodded some, knowing that Marth would probably stay by her side. For this, she was very glad, for it made her feel much better and it was also soothing the pain somehow. He's right...I really do need rest, she realized as she began to doze off. I don't think I've ever been so exhausted...

Hitomi got up and walked to where her new friend was and the elf was "if you dont mind me asking may i help with Carries training" Hitomi wanted to help Carrie also and was willing to do just about any thing at this point "may i help i will do as you ask but i really would like to help in any way i can" Hitomi bowed to both Carrie and Haldir waiting for an answer

Haldir looked at hitomi and smiled "yes you can help me train carrie." he finish ajusting straps and walked over to where to a nearby tree. "Alright concentrate on this tree then draw you swords and into the fighting stance," he said to carrie.

Dongo smiled as he saw Shiori being carried out from the arena. She had fought hard and earned Dongo's blessings. "You fight bravely, girl...I am happy to see you survived." He called to her as she rested. He then took a look at Marth and smiled. He loves her...stupid young people...they believe in such things as love, but have no knowledge of what it is...

Drgn entered the temple, knowing Raina was close behind him. He walked and saw Carrie again. "Hey...Carrie. Sorry for leaving, I had to help someone..." He extended his hand in greeting. He saw Hitomi beside Carrie, "Hi Hitomi...how are you? And where have you been?"

[Kera]

"thank you i will wait till your down with the tree ok" Hitomi smiled and then sat down waiting on a rock staying out of Carries way "do your best in this training Carrie ok" Hitomi gave the girl a thumbs up
"ow Drgn i was training in the woods no one was talking to me so i kinda left sorry if i worried you" Hitomi looked down in saddness for worriering her friend "im sorry its just i felt as if i wasnt cared for and i had to do some thing so i didnt start yelling at people" Hitomis ears where down and her voice was low

Drgn smiled as he heard how Hitomi felt. "You...not cared for? I don't think so Hitomi. I care for you very much...you are my friend afterall." Drgn sat on the same rock as Hitomi, close to her. He put his hand on her head and messed up her hair. "Don't ever think that Hitomi...we are all here for you...we all care." Drgn was glad to see that she was back.

[Kera]

Hitomis ears pircked up she lefted her head and gave Drgn a big smile "thanks but you didnt have to mess up my hair you know" Hitomi started to snicker a bit

Shiori, after a while, opened her eyes and sat, up having forgotten all about what had happened. When she sat up, the wound on her back slightly opened up, and she bit back a hiss of pain, closing her eyes tightly. "Gah...Oh, that felt great," she gasped out, shaking her head. Slowly, she slipped off of the bed and carefully put her good leg on the floor, then her injured one down. Like she predicted, it crumpled under her weight and caused her to slump to the floor.

Drgn smiled and snickered a little himself. "You seem so similar to me Hitomi...both strong willed...both kind-hearted...both determined...and...if I may say so, both very attractive!" Drgn laughed as he felt very selfish in a humorous way. He stood up and patted Hitomi on the head again. "Don't leave again, Hitomi...I don't want to worry again."

Drgn walked to the temple and saw Shiori lying on the floor...I should let Marth handle this... Drgn thought as he gave a confused look. He walked back outside, realizing that there was nothing to do...so he sat beside Hitomi again.

[Kera]

Hitomi laughed alittle "ya your right i guess its weird" One of Hitomis ears where facing Drgn the other was facing Carrie. "its wierd but i feel like i know you some how its diffacult to say how" Hitomi sat and started thinking but soon stopped and sighed "i dont know. if i leave again ill tell you first ok dont wont people worrying to death about little old me" Hitomi was getting used to people patting and scratching her head and ears and she liked it suprizing anough. "nothing better to do so shall we talk" Snickering alittle at what she said.

Marth somewhat caught Shiori before she completely fell to the ground. He was caught off guard, for he had slipped into a light sleep himself. "Shiori..." Marth smiled, as he lifted her, and put her back into the bed. "You have to settle down, just wait until you heal. If you like, I could go get Drgn, or Dongo to heal you." He said as he sat on the bed and looked to her. "I won't allow you to be as foolish as myself. And besides, you need the rest more that I did... you're not full dragon, you don't heal as quickly as I do." Marth sighed. "I'll stay here with you, If you need anything, just ask, and I'll get it for you." Marth smiled.

i climb back up the moutain and i have a huge gash on my forehead, and its not healing like it should, i stumble back to the temple and collapse at the doors, i lay there and look through the blood over my face, up at the sky, and i wonder why im...normal

OCC: Raina...you're not supposed to have lost your powers, just able to control them yourself a lot better. but it's your choice i guess...by the way, Raina is still immortal and is still the God of Blood...(in case u were wondering).

BIC: Drgn smiled as he talked with Hitomi...today seemed like a happy day. The sky began to darken slightly. The day was almost over, and everyone had completed their arena test at Dongo's temple. Soon the group would be off to face a new challenge.

As Drgn sat, admiring the day, Raina had walked up the mountain and he saw her bleeding as she collapsed into the temple. "Raina...are you alright?" He asked as he walked over to her. He mnelt before her and turned her body over, so her face was looking at his. There was a large cut across Raina's forehead. It was bleeding, not heavily, but bleeding. Drgn whiped the blood from her head with a bit of his sleeve and placed his right hand on the cut. He healed it with his white magic, and it instnatly disappeared. "Raina..." Drgn began, "We have to talk...you have to tell me what is happening to you..." Drgn lifted her up and looked at her, worried.

"heh.." i mumble "im okay..i think that me other side is being stubborn !!!" i sigh, "i just feel normal, i know pain now, i want to be mortal, when i had the blessing in the temple the choice was made my my other sides"

o.c.c.- hey guys I haven't made a post in awhile sorry! I edited my last one so that I actually killed the demon instead of it coming back to life. Like I said b4, sorry!

b.c.c.- "Wow we are all done already? Elder it looks like we are all just too strong for you." Amazon smirked. "So what about my power? You still haven't given it to me yet ya know!" Amazon tapped her foot on the ground impatiently, waiting for the elder to give her her power.

Amazon glared at the women Haldir was talking to "Hn!" she said crossing her arms angrily and turning to the oppossite direction as them. "What a foolish girl she doesn't even know how to fight!" amazon muttered to herself.

Haldir heard what amazon said and it made him shake his head. He walk to her and said "listen she is only a teen and has not learned how to fight yet you can help me by teaching her how to fight." Haldir wanted amazon to trust him and know he still loved her. "Why are you so mad," he asked her knowing she was angry at something or someone.

"Oh please I am 16 and I know how to fight!" amazon angrily replied "And anyways, I am not angry or jealous! Why would I be jealous of anyone!" amazon said angrily. She shrugged "fine Haldir, I'll help you train her." she said smirking. "Really, I don't mind. It'll prove to you I am not jealous of anyone. I am an Amazon after all, I have no one to be jealous of." She grabbed her blade and brushed past Haldir towards the girl.

Shiori shook her head a little and smiled at Marth. "No, I think that I'll heal the natural way, even it it takes a little while," she told him. The half dragon smiled in appreciation as he told her that he would get something for her if she needed it. "I'll be fine," she told him, "Thank you for you're offer, though. I'll be sure to keep it in mind if I actually need anything. I suppose that I really should settle down, though, huh?" she murmured, closing her eyes and laying on her side, facing Marth.

Giving a small nod over to Hitomi in apprecation of her being so helpful towards her. Carrie thought that her and the Hitomi could really become good friends, thinking this Carrie smiled brightly to herself, then sucked herself back to what she was doing. Feeling a bit stupid for day dreaming she realized that she once again missed her chance for a proper introduction with Drgn, some how she got the feeling that they where not suppose to meet. Looking to Haldir she moved into the stance he had showed her, then the girl known as Amazon went by. Looking to the girl she highly resented her comment but Carrie kept her mouth shut, she was in no mood to explain herself and she shouldn't have to. Seeing Amazon wanting to help she some how though it to be a trick but she shook her head thinking she was being silly. Smiling to Amazon she gave a nod to her "Hi I'm Carrie" she said in her normal friendly voice, her blue eyes sparkling a little at everyones willingness to help her learn.

"This is great news Raina...you wish for mortality...you should tell Dongo. He said that he would do it for you if you wanted later..." Drgn thought carefully after saying this. What if her other personalities are controlling her now? What if they want to ruin her by mortalizing her? "Raina...just be sure of yourself when you decide this...I don't want you to regret anything after you make this choice..." Drgn put his hand on her cheek and lightly stroked it. "I just don't want you to be pressured or influenced by the spirits inside you...do what you wish to do..."

Drgn stood, arms crossed, and watched Carrie train. He thought about what Haldir was doing...training Carrie for physical combat. He knew from his previous talk with Carrie that she knew white magic from the elder priestess from her village. This would be a good technique that the group could utilize. If Drgn was in battle...he would not be able to heal...so to have Carrie as a backup would be very efficient.

"Haldir...teach Carrie basic combat skills...don't focus her training on it. I want her to be a white mage if she is willing to..." Drgn looked at Carrie and walked over to her. "We will not be interrupted this time, Carrie..." He smiled and extended his hand, knowing there was no reason to miss this oportunity to meet her properly. He then said, with his hand out, "If you would be okay with this...I would like it if you could be our white mage...for the group. You told me earlier that your elder taught you basic white magic...like healing spells. With my knowledge of these skills...I can teach you more advanced ones, and I can help you improve the ones you know. As a white mage you could help in battles...you would not be useless to the group. Although fighting would also be a good quality to have, I think you may excel in magic." He nodded and finished, "Would you please be our white mage, Carrie?" He kept his hand held out and smiled.

Stopping what she was doing she looked over her shoulder to Drgn and swept her right foot around the left to turn and face him, politely excusing herself from Amazon at the moment.Looking to Drgn she smiled widely, her blue eyes brightening even more so then before. A white mage.. she knew what they where of course from her previous training with the elder. Looking to Drgn she kept her bright smile then extended her arm out, placing her small hand into his to shake. " I would love to be trained as a white mage... I think I would really excel in that area." she said in a joyful and friendly voice. The blonde locks of her hair fell over her chest tracing down to her waist. Now that Carrie thought about it she really could do good with in the group.. never being a fighter she could easily heal up the wounds and find the correct remmedies for one that would fall ill.
Looking to Drgn her hand grasped in his in a light shake, her head moving down in a nod. "I will really work hard if you take the time to teach me.." she said in a hopefull tone.

Drgn smiled as Carrie accepted his offer. "I would be honoured to help you learn the arts of white magic." He took his hand away from her's and patted her on the shoulder. "We will begin training in the morning. Every morning will start early...you and I will train together...and you will learn."

Dongo decided to give the group some rest time before he commenced with the Ceremony of Blessings. He sat in a throne and waited. He rested himself as well.

She gave a little nod, her smile brightening her pale face. Moving her hands back to her slender sides she kept her gaze to Drgn and listened to his words. "Thank you..I will be sure to do my best.." she said in a sincere tone, but the happiness she felt could easily be shown. Carrie meant what she said, she wasn't the one to slack.. she would give it her all. Her blue eyes giving little shimmers from the dim light flickering off of them. Then giving a little nod she dismissed herself from Drgn to allow him to get back to work, and she had some training to do herself. She came to a stop infront of Amazon and stood there, pushing back any resentment she felt towards her.

Marth looked at Shiori as she closed her eyes. He smiled, and just stared at her. She was strong, and it made Marth smile to see that she was so confident. He took one of Shiori's hands in his own, and bent over and kissed he forehead again. He would sit there as she slept. Marth wasn't going to leave Shiori again, he wouldn't let what happened in the arena happen again. "I--" Marth stopped what he was saying, he didn't want to bother Shiori as she rested, and he didn't quite know what he was going to say.

kyu slept for many hours still dreaming about dark. shade curled up kinda like kyu but in his own little way. shade had dreams about he would be helping kyu. shade was happy though that he had learned some new magic and spells he couldn't wait till he learned more.

Shiori smiled some as she opened her eyes when he took her hand in his. She closed her eyes again after a moment of looking at him, then gave his hand a very gentle squeeze. "What...were you about to say?" she asked softly, not ready to doze off just yet. She was trying to let the pain in her back subside for a moment.

Hitomi watched every thing that was happening staying out of the talk but thinking a white mage would come in handy "Drgn i think ill take a nap" Hitomi said then walked over to a tree and jumped in it and soon fell asleep while humming thinking: Carrie well be a fine member of the group:

Marth was confused. Words wanted to come out of his mouth, but Marth was unable to make sense of it. He smiled. "It's a feeling I suppose. I... don't really know where I'm trying to go with it." He smiled. "It doesn't make any sense to me... I just like having you around. I'm not going to leave you." The dragon was unaware of the love for Shiori that was now flowing through his veins. "Just rest now, I'll be here when you awake." Marth smiled, not letting go of Shiori's hand.

Dongo awoke from his little rest and stood up slowly. He walked to the centre of the temple and stood on a large platform that was there. It was his ceremonial platform. He pushed out his arms to his sides and a bright light filled the room. When it went back to normal, there had been eight other platforms surrounding his. These were for the fighters of the arena...and there was one, kindly made for the newcomer, Carrie.

When everyone seemed to be doing their own things, Dongo didn't want to disturb them, but they had to get on with the final part of the temple visit...they had to be blessed. He stood and called out, "Everybody! Join me in this Ceremony of Blessings...whether you are in good health or not at this moment, you must come now...for the paces I have created will disappear in a matter of minutes...and I can only make them once every century. Please...come now to receive the powers that you were promised!" Dongo was waiting patiently for everyone to come, but he was afraid that the platform he made would be gone if the group didn't come soon.

Outside, Drgn's elven ears had picked up the sound of the elder, Dongo calling them into the temple. He was about to commence with the Ceremony of Blessings... Drgn looked at the group from outside the temple and told them, "Everyone, we must enter the temple and join Dogno for the Ceremony of Blessings. He will grant us the powers he promised us." Drgn waited for everyone else to go in, he wanted to make sure they all got in before him, so nobody was missed.

OCC: Otaku and fang girl...are you guys even part of the story anymore? if you want to continue in my RPG...i want an explanation for why you're never with the group anymore. please dont be making an RPG of your own in here, because if that's the case i can get you kicked out by ayumi...and i dont think i want to do that. so just tell me what's going on with you guys in the story and tell me why you're not with everyone else.

Amazon suddenly felt foolish Why is this girl Carrie being so nice to me? she shrugged. "Yeah nice to meet you Carrie and welcome to our group. If you need any help with fighting, I'm your girl, don't ask Haldir cuz he doesn't know how to fight." she laughed and looked over at Haldir "Well we had better get going to the temple you can always train later." she said and then started walking over to the temple. She couldn't help but warm up to her since she was so polite. I really need to quit judging people before I know them... she thought dissapointed in herself.

Amazon reached the temple and heard Raina tell the Elder she wanted to be mortal. She couldn't help but be surprised. But that would make Raina weaker...why would she want to be weaker? She thought to herself. She couldn't understand it, being that all her own life she had quested for great power. But then she remembered all the pain Raina's immortality had put her through. Maybe there are other things more important than power? she thought for a moment but then brushed the thought out of her mind.

Shiori smiled at Marth and nodded a little. "I know what you mean," she said quietly, moving her head downward a bit to kiss the hand that held her own. "Thank you," she added, before drifting off to sleep, a smile still on her face.

When Dongo's annoucement came about, Shiori stirred in in sleep, then slowly open her eyes. "Good health or no, huh?" she murmured, sighing a little bit. "I guess I'll have to go if I want to be freed from these shackles," she commented, feeling the gold chocker and looking at the gold armlets. She smiled at Marth, "Shall we be off?"

Looking to Amazon she smiled a nodded to her words. Carrie could tell she was bit confused as to why Carrie was kind. Giving a soft giggle to herself she could hear Drgns words.. she wondered if that meant her as well. Parting her lips she let out a little sigh then shrugged it off, it would be nice to watch even if she wasn't involved, especialy since she hasn't ever really seen a "ceremony" before.
Smiling to herself she walked over to the temple, small little hops and bounces in her step, which caused her curly locks to bounce and blow behind her. Making her way to the Temple she gave a little nod to Drgn seeing him there, still quite happy that she was accepted among the group of fighters.

Drgn smiled at Carrie as she happily skipped into the temple. "It looks as if there are eight spots. There are seven of us who had competed...so the extra must be for you Carrie...I have a feeling that Dongo didn't want to leave you out." Drgn put his hand on her back and softly gave a soft, guiding push into the temple and laughed a little.

Then, as Drgn stood, watching Carrie take her spot, he heard Raina order the elder to grant her mortallity. I hope this is what Raina truly wants... Drgn thought in incertainty. He walked up to his spot on the floor and watched as Dongo made a decision about Raina's request.

Dongo looked at Raina's eyes. They looked serious...she was serious about her decision. He told her, "Go to your place on the floor...take a pedestal and I shall bless you all. In your blessing I shall include a mortallity spell...it is biological, so you will be naturally changed to a mortal. It will not wear off unless your soul allows it to." Dongo stood, staring at the people as they took their spots.

Marth smiled, and let go of Shiori's hand. "Ya, I'll take you there." Marth said as he stood up, and scooped her into his arms. He walked into the room where Dongo was gathering the group. He looked at the pedistals, wondering how Shiori would stand without support. He brought her to one of the eight pedistals, and stepped up beside her. "You may want to lean on your scythe, Shiori." He said, while helping her stay on her feet. Marth went onto his own pedistal, but stayed close enough to the edge so that he was able to hold onto one of Shiori's arms, so she wouldn't fall.

'I wonder what this old man will give to me...' Marth thought, still not letting go of the half dragon that he loved.

Looking to Drgn she smiled and gave a nod, her eyes bright with happiness. Carrie jumped up to her place and stood there, watching the tohers come as well.
Carrie felt so happy all the people had accepted her. Feeling so grateful to what she was given she couldn't help but keep that big smile on her face, her once pale face brightened by the joyous smile upon her face. Her arms by her side calmly, and her eyes upon the people around her.

Shiori smiled at him and leaned her head against his chest as he carried her to where the others were. When Marth placed her on the pedistal, she held onto him for a moment. "I think...I don't think that I need my weapon for support. My leg has gotten strong enough for me to stand on," she told him, slowly taking herself away from the black dragon, even though she really didn't want to.

She smiled when she found that her theory was correct. She was standing quite fine, though her leg did still hurt slightly. "Yes, I'll be fine," she said.

Haldir heard the eldar and walked into the room he was in. He walked to the place where he was suppose to go. 'I wonder what type of power i will get,' was the question that was always going through his mind. Haldir waited for the eldar to start.

BIC: Drgn smiled at Carrie as her face lit up with happiness. Then, Drgn began to laugh as Raina jumped to the elder and hugged him. She truly wants mortallity...like the rest of us. I am glad for Raina... Drgn thought. He stepped up to his pedestal and waited patiently. "Raina...get on your pedestal!" Drgn whispered loudly to her, trying to maintain a courteous reputation for his group. He stood, watching the elder as he waited for the rest to arrive.

As Dongo looked at the smiling Raina, she jumped on him and hugged him. He smiled, almost losing his balance. "Raina...you shall be a mortal." He smiled and waited for the entire group to appear before him.

Hitomi slowly woke up "wha where the hell is every one" Hitomi ran at full speed to the temple and bursting though the door "ok who forgot to wake me" Hitomi was mad but soon calmed down "whats going on Drgn ...... elder whats going on" Hitomi looked at every one cunfused and a little mad at the same time

Marth reluctantly let go of Shiori, but was glad to see her standing on her own. He smiled, as he stepped into the center of his pedistal. He didn't take his eyes off of Shiori, he thought it was because he wanted to make sure she didn't fall, but there was something else. Not holding Shiori had put a sickening feeling in Marth's stomach, but to lose sight of her would be worse. The thought of not having her by his side almost sent Marth into a panic, but he knew she was there. Marth knew right then that if Shiori was ever in dnger that he would not be able to control himself. Though with this knowledge, he still didn't understand what the feeling was. Marth could only think that Shiori felt the same way. Knowing that she was impained when he was attacked by the hell creature, Marth assumed that Shiori was having similar feelings. He didn't want to bring it up, bit his actions seemed to speak louder than any words could ever dream of.

Drgn looked over to the door as Hitomi wealked in, quite angry. She was asleep in a tree and everyone forgot. "Uh...sorry Hitomi...I was so excited to come and be blessed that I forgot to wake you up. I'm very sorry...I'm the leader, I should have realized you were gone." Drgn knew there were people missing, but he didn't know anyone was sleeping.

When Raina jumped around and spread her happiness around the room, Drgn looked at her with a slight smile...almost wanting to laugh a little, but realized he should tell her, "Raina...this is disrespectful. The elder is going to help you...please be more humble and patient." He stayed on his pedestal and looked over to Hitomi. He motioned her onto another pedestal, "Stand on one...Dongo is about to begin the Ceremony of Blessings." He looked back up.

When Dongo saw Hitomi enter the room, he told her to take a stand at a pedestal. Then, when Raina kissed him on the cheek, he blushed, for he had never had a woman like him before. I am too old for her! Why would I think through such lust? I am such a disturbed old man... Dongo stared at Raina as she had fallen over and her skirt flapped up.

"Elder, Dongo! That isn't what you should be focused on right now...or is it? Does Raina's behaviour have something to do with the ceremony?" Drgn smiled and snickered a little, knowing the old man was a little perverted.

Dongo looked back, hesitantly, to the group and payed attention to the ones that were standing already.

Dongo ignroed, with his greatest inner strength, the attempted seduction of the young girl, Raina. "Go, girl. Stand on your spot. If you wish to be relieved of your inner leopard spirit, I shall grant it. But you must leave me alone!" Dongo was very embarrassed. He looked at Raina when she asked about a shower room, "There is no shower room, girl. You may bathe in the lakes, off the mountain. But for now, please receive my blessings. Stand on your pedestal!" He ordered.

Drgn began to snicker a little louder than before now. Raina was acting very childish...but it was quite funny to him. He didn't want her to be expelled and not be able to accept blessings. "Raina, just stand patiently in your spot and you can have what the elder will grant you."

The elder was disturbed by Raina's plane of thought at the moment. I believe she is the perverted one here... Dongo thought to himself in annoyance. Then, when Raina jumped around in confusion and cut herself, Dongo put his head in his hand. Imbissile...why is the girl so confused about what she desires? He now thought...knowing he should cure her arm wound. He extended his arm and a ball of light shot at Raina's head, cleansing hre body of any wounds, scars, or abnormalities, like her arm colour.

Drgn stood, frowning a little as Raina cut her arm open. "Why the hell would you want to clear your memories?!" Drgn reached over to her and put his hand on her back so she wouldn't lose balance.
By the time the ball had hit Raina, she was already cured of her curse. She was clean all over her body. No cuts, no bruises, no scars, just fresh skin.

Dongo had very little time left before the pedestals disappeared. "Hurry Hitomi! Take your spot!" he yelled, as she stood there...then he looked at Amazon and called her, "Take a spot! I will comence in one minute! If you fail to come into my circle of pedestals, you will miss your blessings!" Dongo was losing his patience now. And he, in his frustration, decided to make Raina half-mortal, as she requested. Even though she seemed very confused about it, he was frustrated and wanted to do this quickly.

Shiori smiled at Marth, the fact that he seemed to share her feelings made her smile, as did the fact that he was around her. All of it just made her so happy. Much happier than she ever felt she could be in her entire life. So far, all her life had been made up of was misery. It was probably because nobody seemed to want to accept her. Nobody in her family, and nobody outside of her family. When she cam across this group, she thought that she might be turned away.

Instead...People did accept me, be they elf, demon...or anything in between. Everybody tried and succeeded in being my friend. I didn't expect any of this, especially not with Marth...I mean, he's a full blooded dragon and all. Then again, Father did lie to me about full blooded dragons, it seems. I did feel like a fool and a jerk for having thought he would be what Father described. And now...I'm in love with him, she thought, smiling even more.

Standing in her place she watched Raina with confusion. What a strange girl she thought. Standing there she resorted to braiding small strands of her golden hair, her ears still listening to the peoples conversations around her. But her blue eye gaze was fixed to her hair which she braided with fast fingers. The hair interweaving into beautiful braids, her natural highlights alluminated it more so. Carries lips where still stretched in a wide smile for being excepted among the group.

Marth looked away from Shiori when he heard Raina going crazy. He looked over to Drgn, wanting to ask him if she would be alright, but Shiori was still on his mind. He couldn't bring himself to speak, and nothing made any sense to him. The expression on Drgn's face was enough to relax him, and when Raina was healed by the old man, Marth's worrying for his crazed companion had ceased.

Again Marth turned to look at Shiori. He smiled. 'I... I love her.' It was finally clear to Marth. It took him long enough to realize it, but when it hit him, he felt so relieved. He didn't know what to say, still speechless, the dragon just stared. All the pain that Marth was feeling just melted away at that moment. He shook himself out of the daze, and looked over to Dongo. "Old man, get this ceremony started. We've spent too much time with you, and I'd like to never see you again, so please hurry." Marth, not trying to be rude just spoke his mind. He anted to leave, he wanted to hold onto Shiori again.

Shiori hadn't really noticed what was going on with Raina. Sure, she had heard the girl going on and on about something that seemed insane, but her mind was elsewhere, not concentrating on the rest of her companions. When Marth spoke, however, she tended to be paying attention. The half dragon laughed a little as he began to order the elder around, and she shook her head a little bit. "You'll get yourself into trouble," she whispered to him. "He may just decide to throw you into another battle!"

"Ack! I am late!" Amazon was the last one in the room. As she heard the elder's threat she sweatdropped "Yea yea old man I am coming!" Amazon reached the pedestal, holding her head up high making it obvoius to everyone how proud she was.

She snuck a quick glance at the rest of the group, seeing how happy everyone was. She noticed how lovingly Shiori and Marth looked at eachother. She saw how happy Raina was and she recalled what a good leader Drgn was for their group. And Hitomi had grown into an even better person than she was when they all first met. Even the new girl Carrie seemed to be a good ally for the group. And Haldir...

She sighed deeply, knowing that this was the greatest moment their group has had so far. And that if there was any blessing they recieved on this day, it was being blessed to know eachother....

Wait! what the heck am I thinking? Since when am I this sappy? she thought to herself I hope no one in here has mind-reading powers....

OCC: I will just make it so that Hitomi is following the group everywhere (i have no right in my mind to control someone else's character). so wherever the group is, Hitomi is.

Drgn smiled as Amazon took her spot in the circle of pedestals. "Good to see you made it on time. I was hoping you would, Amazon. I didn't want you to have fought for nothing." He turned his head back to face Dongo. He gave a stern expression, slightly smiling at the success of the group so far.

Dongo smiled at the sight of the entire group by his feet. "You shall all experience my blessings now. Let the Ceremony of Blessings begin!" He called out. He raised his arms over his head and thought to himself about the desires of each member. They all felt differently about the ceremony...not one pair of people thought for the same effects.

As his hands stayed over his head, multicoloured balls of energy formed - one in each hand. He released the energy that they contained out to the group. Each of them were sprinkled with some energy from Dongo's hands. That was all...the ceremony was almost complete. The multicoloured energy was the new strength that was given to them. All that was left was an individual spell for each.

For Drgn, the power of more wisdom was granted. He would now know of everything he needed to lead his group. He was also given the name of an old woman that he had met in his past...but had forgotten. She would have a special secret to tell Drgn.

For Shiori, the power of confidence was granted. She could now feel more confident about herself, and would not blame herslef as often for the mistakes of others.

For Raina, the power of mortallity and immortallity were balanced out. She was now half-mortal, and could die through physical damage, though it would take longer. Her leopard form was removed from her soul...she would never become a leopard again.

For Marth, the power of peacew and courtesy was given. Not such a power to be tampered with. This power was given only to those who had trouble expressing themselves in a humble way. This strength was also good for convincing people to like someone.

For Haldir, the power of teamwork was given. He would now be less foolish in fighting alone and wanting to leave the team's side. He would learn to travel with his group and never alone.

For Amazon, the power of happiness was granted. She would now be less angry and ungreatful. She could recognize happiness in others and in herself.

For Hitomi, the power of emotion was granted. Not only would she be able to sense happiness like Amazon, but also, she would be able to recognize all emotions other that her emotionlessness. A name was also given to her...the same one as was given to Drgn.

And finally, for Carrie, the sense of belonging and faithfulness to friends was given. She would now be part of the group, and deserved to feel as if she belonged.

Dongo stepped off of his pedestal and sat in his throne. "Go now...discover your powers. I will not tell you what it was you have received...for there would be no learning involved if I did the work for you." He smiled and called Haldir's hawk over. As it landed on his arm, he kissed its beak and let it fly. Such a wonderful creature... Dongo thought to himself.

Drgn looked at himself, then at his group. "We have all been granted new powers...we shall go out and notice them. We mustn't stay any longer...for we have taken two days to complete this task." Drgn turned to face the elder. "Thank y-" he stopped, seeing Dongo kiss the hawk. Drgn face twisted in ignorance. What...the hell is that?! Drgn thought in complete shock. He turned back to the group and motioned them out the door. He ran and his heart was beating quickly...he had never experienced a homosexual person in his life. That was the most sickening and disturbing thing I have ever seen.... He turned to see the group as they followed.

As Drgn began to calm down, his head began to pulsate...softly, but it wasn't due to stress...he sensed something. A new destination. He was to go see a woman who knew something about him...and Hitomi was involved. He didn't know what to expect, but he knew it would be another worthwhile journey...

Shiori was quite satisfied with what she got. Sure, her dragon form was still going to be locked inside, but she was fine with that now. She knew that she could handle things without that form. "I feel like I can do anything!" she stated out of nowhere, smiling as she went to Marth's side.

The half dragon, half elven girl looked at Dongo and bowed before him for a moment. "Thank you for what you've done. I'm very grateful for what I've recieved here today," she said.

Bowing to the old man, Marth left the temple, and felt Shiori walk up beside him. Marth felt like he had to say something. Whether the old man had used his powers to bring this out of Marth or not, the dragon knew he had to speak. He took Shiori's hand and stopped walking. He stepped infront of her, and grabbed her other hand. He stared into her eyes, but the words seemed to evade him. "Shiori... I..." Marth closed his eyes, and after a moment he looked back to Shiori. "I love you Shiori. I can't keep the feelings inside any longer. I needed you to know how I feel..." Marth was surprised at what he had just said, and a little embarassed (which he easily covered up). The dragon knew that the half dragon and himself had a special bond, but love... He wasn't so sure she felt the same way. He knew sharing his feelings might be a risk, but it was one that he knew he had to take.

He let go of her hands, not able to read the expression on her face. Marth looked down in dissapointment, knowing that he might have just lost Shiori, the only person that he held close to his heart. "I'm sorry." Marth still looked at the ground. "I shouldn't have..." He stopped himself, again at a loss of words.

"nyuu" i mumble "im still confused and i feel all light and puffy!!" i run out the dorr and then walk back in, i alk over to the elder and i do a low bow, my hair touches the floor "i thank you for letting us into your temple, i am sorry for the trouble i have caused, and i hope to see you some time in the future," i stand and give him one last hug and i start to walk away

Taking in a deep breath she inhaled, she couldn't of asked for anything more. Keeping her eyes to Dongo she gently wrapped her arms around the elders neck in a hug. "Thank you so much... I don't think you know how much that means to me." she said in a soft voice. All of Carries life which she could remember she knew she wanted to belong.. just on place where she was accepted for her, Carrie. Giving the hug a light squeeze she took a step back and bowed deeply to Dongo. "Thank you again kind sir, I will be sure to do this group good." she said with a confident strum in her voice.

Drgn walked back in, hesitantly. I can't just leave without thanking him...eugh...I have to go... Drgn thought. He walked into the temple and stood before the elder. He bowed, and when he stood back up he said, "Thank you Elder, Dongo. You have given us all blessings today that should increase not only our physical power, but our whole selves at once."

Drgn pushed aside the fact that Dongo was a pervert and a homosexual. He extended his hand and said, "You have helped my group, Dongo. You have reaised our morale today. With this new confidence, I wish to lead my group into great things. We can now have less fear of the Chimera monster."

Dongo smiled as each member thanked him. When Drgn came and extended his hand, Dongo accepted it and shook it. "You are a fine group...you were the first of all journeyists who truly deserved my powers...I am glad to have been of service to you...for I feel you will do great things as a group." Dongo released Drgn's hand and smiled brightly. "Never have I seen duch determination in a group...you are all welcome to visit me again."

After Dongo finished his talk with Drgn, he remembered that Shiori was unhappy with the gold bonds around her. With the snap of his finger, the bonds were broken. Shiori's dragon form could now, not only be released properly, but controlled very well. If she ever needed to fight in her dragon form, she could use it when she needed it, not when it randomly popped out. "Girl, Shiori...do not thank me...I told you I would do that for you."

Drgn saw the bonds on Shiori's neck and limbs were broken. She could now be a dragon again. "Wow...this is great! Shiori...this could be one of the greatest things for our group...the true power of a dragon." Drgn bowed once again to the elder and left his side to meet up with Shiori. He put his hand on Shiori's head and patted it softly. "You have been given the power you desired Shiori...I'm glad for you." Drgn smiled and walked outside.

"Hey Elder Dongo..." she was careful not to call him 'old man' again, now having a newfound respect for him. "I don't feel any stronger...." she looked herself over. She didn't appear to be any different. She shrugged, but then started to smile. A real smile... she thought to herself. She felt content with the Elder's gift, whatever it was she couldn't help but feel grateful. "Well anyways thanks old... err.... Elder." she bowed and then ran off. I wonder what the old man's gift was after all... I don't feel my goddess powers any closer than they were before.... but maybe he can't just hand a power like that to me. Maybe he gave me something else to make me a little closer to them....

She saw Haldir and ran up to him and tackled him knocking him onto the ground "Hey Haldir remember what I said about testing my powers on you?!" she giggled

Haldir didn't feel any stronger but felt that he must stay nearby the group. He was slightly shocked seeing the eldar kiss the hawk but he bowed and looked over at amazon. The hawk landed on carrie's shoulder seeing amazon tackle haldir and was unusually quiet. Haldir looked at amazon when he hit the ground and raise a eyebrow at what she said. "Well what the hell alright lets do it," he said smiling and getting back up.

When Marth spoke the words to Shiori, she just looked at him for the longest time, not saying a word until she saw him look away from her. She would have said something before this if the sudden words hadn't taken her off guard. Marth didn't strike her as the type to speak his mind on something like that.

Then Shiori smiled and wrapped her arms around him, holding him a tight as she could, knowing it wouldn't hurt him. After she heard his apology, she stopped the embrace to lift his head towards her gaze again, and she was smiling, a few tears in her eyes. "Don't be sorry," she whispered to him, slightly cupping his face in her hands. "I'm so happy that you did say it to me, because...I love you, Marth," Shiori told him. It looks like I can finally say it to him...Though I should have said it before...

Shiori looked towards the elder and nodded some, "Well, still...I would think myself to be ungrateful if I hadn't thanked you anyway," she told him. When the bands came off of her, Shiori hardly even noticed they were gone, until Drgn said something. She blinked and looked down at the floor, and she saw them laying there. "I can...go into my dragon form now?" she whispered, closing her eyes. "I never thought I could be so happy," the half dragon stated, tears comming to her eyes. "I've been blessed with so much in one day," she admitted.

Hitomi did as the elder said she bowed slightly and smiled "Drgn wait up what was that all about" Hitomi ran up to Drgn and landed infront of him and smiled "hello earth to Drgn" Hitomi waved her hand in his face trying to get his attention But she did feel much happier then before but her emotionless self well still be there

Smiling she gave one last low bow to the elder then turned over to Haldir. "Still wish to train?" she acked in her upbeat and friendly voice. Carrie felt an attatchment to Haldir, he did save her after all. But could it be more? She was just a younge girl after all. Parting her lips she gave a soft sigh out of confusion then quickly turned it away as she looked to the hawk. "My, look who came back." she said in a teasing and giggly voice. Her hand out reached to give the Hawk some soft scratches on his head.

Drgn snapped out of his state of thought. "Oh...sorry Hitomi...I didn't see you there." He smiled and turned to look at her directly. "I am quite confused myself, Hitomi...I don't know what happened to me...but I somehow know the name of a woman who apparently knows a secret...a secret about me. And it feels as if you're involved somehow..." Drgn gave a confused look. He didn't know what to expect if he were to seek out this woman. All he knew was that this may be his next destination to pursue.

Drgn turned to the group and saw them all gathering outside the temple. As he looked back at the doors to the temple, he saw Dongo watching them. The doors slowly began to close. They were sealed up and locked until another group came to pass his mountain test.

The quest of the Peaks of Haunting was over. The group had received new powers and strengths. They were now one step closer to the strength they would require to physically and mentally challenge the ones that had ruined their pasts. Now, having the courage to continue onward, the group had to decide on a new path to take...would it be one of revenge, or would it be one of exitement for new powers? It was a decision to be made by the group, together...

Haldir looked over to carrie and smiled. "Sure after me and amazon face off you should watch it might help you," he said then noticed the hawk wasnt being a chatter box which was a relief. 'I am speechless,' the hawk thought as he watched haldir walking out the temple. "Thats the spot," the hawk said when he was scratched again.

Kyu woke up and yawned she looked over at Dark who was still sleeping she smiled at him and saw her tail was keeping him warm. she felt a little nuddge and looked over at shade. she smiled to him as well. He had curled up next to her and continued to sleep. kyu said in a whisper as she looked back to Dark. " goodnight dark. I love you nice dreams." after that she put her head back on her paws. and felt tired again. and befour she knew it she was all ready asleep.

Hitomi stopped smiling and put on a serious face "i dont know *sigh* this is cunfusing and my heads starting to hurt" Hitomi walked over to a nice patch of green grass and sat down "a woman? Seems like where both invalved? and we dont know why?" Hitomi put her hand on her head in thought "its all confusing sure it feels as if ive known you from some where else but i dont know where or when" Hitomi laid on her back in thought soon blocking every thing out of her head but her train of thoughts but soon gave up and started to hum again.

Walking back out of the temple to watch the fight she found her self smiling ear to ear, but why was she so happy? Looking on her shoulder to the Hawk she giggled down at him "Oh you like that don't you?" she said with another giggle. The hawk was always good entertainment when needed.
Continuing to walk out she took a seat out side close to where the spar would be, her back lazily rested against the rock. "Be careful you two." she said in a motherly tone. Carrie would hate to see either one of them scarred up.

Drgn looked over at Hitomi as she seemed to be in deep thought over why they were chosen to meet the woman. He scratched his head in confusion. What could this possibly be about? Drgn wondered, frustrated. He decided to go visit the woman. He was impatient with not knowing of this woman's involvement in his life. He had to know what her secret was.

"Everyone!" Drgn called out, "Hitomi and I will be travelling to the home of an old woman...if anyone else wishes to follow, please tell me now. And if anyone wishes to go on their own for now, please tell me wher you plan to be...I have to find you when we're done." He nodded in conclusion and looked to Hitomi. "Let's go Hitomi...we must seek out this woman and find out what she can do for us." He began to walk slowly, slow enough for Hitomi to catch up, and for anybody to tell him where they would be.

"wait...home?!?" i shout? i go over to drgn and jump on his back and peer over his shoulder, i seem a little bit heavy "i wanna go home again...i remember that time when i stole some cool stuff and buryed it, i want to dig it up and see what it does!!!"

Drgn looked at Raina and smiled, "Alright...we can go home first. But I wold really like to see this old woman." Drgn popped Raina off his back and laughed a little. "Just walk with us Raina...and...will you be following us to the old woman's home?" He smiled and looked back ahead at his path.

Amazon looked over at Carrie "Oh don't worry about me, it's Haldir you should really worry about!" she said smirking. She stood opposite Haldir about to get ready to fight him when Drgn said they were leaving. "oh alright..." she shrugged

"Hey" she looked over at Shiori, Marth, Carrie, and Haldir "What are you guys going to do? Are you guys going with them or are you guys going off somewhere else?" she couldn't think of anywhere else she needed to go at the time.

She frowned, a bit dissapointed that she couldn't fight Haldir. Or she could, if they decided to stay behind. But she really didn't know what to do. "So, what are you guys going to do?"

"Ahhh home would be nice to see after these 15 years i've been gone," haldir said closing his eyes and imagening his homeland. He started to hum a melody he had learn to remind him of his home. "Amazon and carrie do you want to join me to join me and come to my home i could use some company on the journey," he said looking at the two then toward drgn. "Send word if you need me," haldir said starting to put away his belongings.

Shiori went a little red and looked at Amazon, Haldir, and Carrie. She smiled and bowed a little. "Well, good luck, we hope to see you again," the half dragon said. She was holding on to Marth's hand, her head resting on his shoulder a bit. It wasn't a secret any longer that Shiori loved Marth and vice versa. Then again, it probably wasn't much of a secret to the others. Well, now everybody knows...

Drgn looked back at the group that Haldir took. "Carrie...if you wish to follow Haldir to his homeland...we will have to begin your morning training when we meet up again." He didn't smile...he took the training seriously, but he couldn't help smiling when he saw the birght face Carrie had on. "Haldi," Drgn told him, "I shall speak through telepathy if I need you at all. If I don't need you any time during my journey, or you don't need me, we will all meet back at the foot of this mountain in two days. And if you need me at all, use your telepathy...you have the ability as an elf." He smiled and waved off as he carried Raina down the path, Hitomi by his side.

He then stopped and called out, "Marth, Shiori, the same goes for you two. I want to meet back here in two days...at the dawn of the third day." Drgn thought that it would be a good time to start training on Carrie. He waved off to them as well and continued his way down the trail.

As he was walking, carrying Raina, he remembered Dark and Kyu. Where the hell did they go? They have been gone for two days...I don't think I should concern myself with their business...but I hope they're alright... He thought. He shrugged slightly, not wanting to lose his grip on Raina. "How are you Raina...comfortable?" He laughed. Then, looking at Hitomi, he asked, "Why do you seem so sad...or is it that you are confused?" Whatever it was, Drgn was worried about his friend. He thought back to when she told him she felt a familiarity between them...Drgn could feel it as well. At first, he knew little of her and a connection between them...but now that they had gotten to know each other, Drgn felt something strange abot her...something that he believed he should have known all his life.

Waiting for a reply from Hitomi, Drgn kept his pace down the trail and saw the dead gatekeeper...Shiori's first victory...
As he walked further down, he saw the little mongrel that he gave the gem...
When he got near the bottom he saw the ghost child...
Drgn said farewell to the mountain that had granted him great hospitality and friendship. He walked off the mountain and remembered Celea. So much...too much has happened here...this is a very overwhelming journey indeed...

Marth smiled, seing his companions... his friends leave. The splitting up didn't make him too happy, but two days wouldn't be long ones. Marth could feel that life would be a lot easier now, a lot more fulfilling. He had friends, and he had his love, Shiori. As the two groups left, leaving Marth and Shiori alone, still close to Dongo's temple, the dragon turned to face Shiori. The sun of the new moring was shining off of his black armour, shading Marth's face. The black dragon wings shot out of Marth's back. "Where do we go?" Marth asked with a smile. He knew Shiori had a past full of pain, and she wouldn't have a home that she would want to go back to, but Marth's home was at the other side of the world; a crumbled palace, full of the bones of dragons. Marth, if he had the choice would never want to go back to the place that was once his home. The memories would be too painful, and his killing spree might start again.

"Take out your wings, we'll fly." Marth smiled. Shiori had been doomed to live a life without her dragon abilities, but now the curse was lifted. "We can go anywhere you want. I'll leave our little journey up to you. Marth didn't know if Shiori would want to follow one of the two groups or if she would want to take a separate path. He let go of her hand, and walked to the edge of the mountain trail, and looked down the side of the mountain. Again he turned to face Shiori.

Looking to Haldir, Amazon then Drgn she was so confused on the situation. What should she do? Would it be wierd traveling with Haldir and amazon? But she would miss the others too. And it went the other way around... Carrie looked down and sighed sadly, why couldn't they just all travel together... Hearing Drgns words she gave a little nod, she had to start training as soon as Drgn could give it, she was quite serious in that matter. But still.. what should she do.. Carrie finally felt accepted among the group and now they where splitting up..
Keeping her head in a low bow she thought long and hard aboutthe situation, her hands pressed flat to her legs. And the curly locks falling over her lush pale face. Closing her blue eyes in a squint she pressed her index and middle fingers to her temples, and there she massaged them as she sat there in thought.

Shiori waved to Drgn and the others, sighing a little bit as the two groups of friends left for their own seperate ways. "See you in two days!" she called, a smile still on her face, even though she felt a little sad to be parting. Then again, she would be with Marth, and this made her feel much better.

When the black dragon asked her to take out her wings, she looked a little lost, then looked as if she was trying to remember something. "Oh, it's been so long since I've used these," she said, closing her eyes. "Do I even remember how to...Oh, yes, here they are," she said with a smile as the two leathery wings came out. They were a pure white and slightly transparent. When the light hit them, her wings would reflect the light, adding a sort of glow to them. Shiori smiled and stroaked the wings. "So long..." she whispered.

After giving her wings a good streach, she looked at Marth and smiled again. It seemed that she had a lot to smile about these days, and who wouldn't be able to, after recieving so much. "Where to go..." Shiori sighed, looking around as far as she could see. "That's a bit of a tough question...I really don't have a home to visit...Although, I could go back to the village that my father lives in...To visit mom's grave and to..." she started, smirking a little. "Well, maybe I shouldn't do the other thing I had in mind..." she laughed.

Marth smiled. He didn't know what Shiori was talking about, but hearing her laugh made him so happy he couldn't help but smile. "Alright." Marth walked over to Shiori and took her hand. "Then that's where we'll go." He was ready to fly whenever she was, Marth didn't know how long it would take the half dragon to get used to her wings again, so he held her for support. He jumped up about 200 feet, and looked at Shiori beside him. "Are you ready?" The dragon smiled. He wanted to see what Shiori was laughing about. "What's on your mind...?" He asked again with a smile on his face.

After streaching her wings again, Shiori jumped up a little bit, not as high as Marth, but it was enough so that she could take flight. She just stayed in one spot for a little while, flapping her wings for a couple of minutes, then flew around the black dragon. "Alright...I think I have the feel of them again," Shiori stated, smiling at him.

"What's on my mind?" she questioned, then laughed after a few seconds. "You mean when I laughed? I thought that I'd pay my father a minute and show that I could belong somewhere...To see the look on his face when he finds out that I have at least one person...It would be priceless," Shiori whispered.

Marth moved closer to Shiori, and hugged her. He smiled, and flew a few feet back. "Whenever you're ready, just lead the way, and I'll follow right beside you." The once lonely dragon was now able to share the sky with someone, and the feeling of never being alone was something that he could get used to. Marth looked to the ground, far below him. All he could see was the tops of the forest trees. 'Two days... stay safe my friends, I won't be there to watch over you...' Marth was worried about his companions, he wouldn't be able to ensure their safety, but he was almost certain that everything would be ok.

i fall asleep on drgns back and i seem more heavy, i munch softly in drgns neck while i sleep, i always munch while i sleep..bad habbit, my has been getting bleached my the sun, tis now a dark brown..and my ghost white skin has tanned,when i was immortal i was just the same as being dead, but being human i can have the affects that humans get from the sun, i open my eyes because its getting a little hot, i jump off of drgn and yawn, i look very strange with dark/med brown hair and a tan, "im hungry"

Hitomi was startled when Drgn left "hey wait up" Hitomi ran as fast as she could and cought up with Drgn with ease "hey next time im almost asleep do some thing more then just talk and walk away i was thinking you know" Hitomi said stunly then smiled "hehe fooling so where we going again" Hitomi now walking right beside Drgn taking a side glance at Raina and sighed

Shiori smiled at Marth as she gave herself a test flight, doing circles and loops, things like that. "I got used to it again pretty quickly," she said, sounding satisfied. She hugged the dragon back and nodded, turning towards the west, trying to get her barings. "Let's see...It should be this way!" she stated, grinning a little as she began to fly in the direction she had pointed to.

"I really wonder what they will say to me when they see me again," Shiori said out loud, even though she was more so talking to herself. "I mean, they kicked me out because I only have half elven blood and such. I hope that I can restrain myself from starting a fight with the elder," she said with a bit of a smirk on her face. "I never got to meet my mother's side, and I wonder if I ever will..." she added.

Looking back at Marth, she smiled a little, watching as he looked down at the ground while flying. As if she read his mind, she laughed a little. "Don't worry...I'm sure that everybody will come back to the temple in two days!" Shiori assured him.

Drgn smiled as he noticed Hitomi catch up with them. "Sorry I forgot to tell you...hehe...my mistake Hitomi." Drgn patted her head. When Raina jumped onto Hitomi's back, Drgn began to laugh a little. "Raina...come on, get off of her." he laughed. Then he noticed Raina's skin and hair being effected by the beating morning sun. "You look nice Raina...really beautiful...your skin has gained some colour and your hair is almost golden brown..." Drgn stroked his hand through Raina's hair and smiled. A fresh breeze blew, softly, in his face. "Today will be a very beautiful day...not too hot, and not too cold..."

Drgn laughed and hugged her back. He didn't want to get too affectionate around Hitomi, though. He softly pushed Raina off of him and let her walk beside him. "We're going to have to go through the forest to get home..." Drgn walked into the forest entrance. This was the forest where Raina and Drgn would play make-believe games and have fun. Drgn smiled at the memory.

Drgn took a quick look at Hitomi and sighed, What could be waiting for us at the old woman's house? I pray this is no trick... Drgn continued to walk and watched as the trees swayed softly in the breeze.

Hitomi watched not talking but sighed a few times "so how far is where were going" Hitomi looked at the forest and sighed again troubled but still following Drgn not paying attention much "do what ever im glad where going back in a forest" Hitomi just kept walking

Drgn smiled ans looked over to Hitomi. "Where Raina and I came from is where we're visiting first. It will be in our sight after exiting the forest." Drgn continued walking and brushed his hand along the trees that lined the side of the trail. He felt so relaxed now that they had completed a quest that took over two days to do. He closed his eyes slightly, as the breeze cooled his face.

Marth looked up from the ground to Shiori. He nodded. "If you want to find your mother's family, I'm sure we can try. The elf wouldn't mind if we were away for more than two days. We'd still be able to find him, or he might come after us." Marth smiled, as he flew over to Shiori. He continued in the same direction she was going. "Shiori," Marth grabbed the half dragons hand, "if they don't accept you, you'll always have me. Don't worry about what they say, they don't know anything. They don't know you." Marth said, as he looked at her.

"Besides," He continued, "what good is a family that never accepted you, if you have us? Our little 'family'." Marth smiled. "You'll always belong with us, and no one in our group would ever turn on you. We're all friends, and we all understand each other. You needn't worry about what your father's people say." Marth assured her.

Shiori smiled and gave Marth's hand a little squeeze, nodding. "Yes, I know that," she said. "I...really never did care about what they thought, anyway. I'm glad that they rejected me now...I'm very happy, because if they didn't, these current events wouldn't have happened. If they didn't happen, then...I wouldn't have met you," she whispered. "So I'm glad that they didn't accept me. I can tell that to them now," she declared.

The half dragon began to fly again, still holding onto Marth's hand. "I'm glad that I'm in a place where I am accepted. Though I don't have a place to call 'home', considering that we travle from place to place, but that's fine with me. I've been doing that for most of my life," she said, smiling. "Though...Are you sure that Drgn won't be mad if we take a little longer than he told us?" she asked. The last thing that she wanted to do was get Drgn mad.

Marth smiled. "Does your home have to be a place?" Marth asked. "Can't your home be the happiness that you're filled with in our group?" Marth looked away. "The happiness that I feel when I'm with you; the happiness that completes me... can't that be a 'home'?" Marth smiled as he looked back to Shiori. Your home is where your heart is, and mine is with you..."

Marth wanted to get off the subject, because he was feeling a little uncomfortable. "The elf would understand, as long as you're with me." Marth smiled. "I know that he trusts me. He knows that I'm a reliable person. If I didn't listen to him, He'd know it was for a good reason." Marth smiled.

Shiori looked at him, a little surprised at his statement. "Where the heart is, hmm? Never thought of things that way, but I suppose that's as logical as you can get," she said with a smile. "If that's true, then it's the same with me...My home is with you," she answered. The happiness that you feel in the group...I never thought of that as being called a home before, she thought, the smile on her face growing a little more.

When Marht changed the subject about Drgn being alright with it, she laughed a little and nodded. "Yes, I noticed that he trusts you quite a bit," she told him. "I think that everybody trusts you, too...Me included, of course," she added.

bic:dark awoke later and rubbed his eyes then looked at kyu.he petted her head and walked out of the bubble.then,he walked over to a cliff and sat on the edge of it looking into the night sky.he seemed very peaceful doing this.he just sat there and thought of the journey and kyu,along with the rest of the things going on right now.he continued to sit there, his gaze toward the sky.

o.c.c. otaku, you missed a lot. It's morning, and the group already got their blessings from the elder [dark was not included] and they left. The group split up into three groups 1. Haldir, amazon, and carrie. 2. Drgn, Raina, and hitomi, 3. Marth and Shiori.
Dark and Kyu... well i have no idea where they are.

b.i.c. Marth smiled. "It's strange how so many people can trust a fiend like me." Marth shook his head. "The reason my people are dead is because no one could trust us." Marth kept a tight grip on Shiori's hand. Every time he thought about his people, he remembered them dying, and he rememebered the countless numbers of people that he had killed to get his revenge. He eased the tight grip. "I'm... sorry." Marth then let go of her hand. He didn't know if he had hurt her or not. The dragon was always battling his past, and the wars he fought were sometimes unbarable.

Shiori let out a sigh and dropped altitude a little bit, turning over on her back so that she was flying, while looking up at Marth. "Come, now...If you're as bad as you claim to be, then I truely doubt that others would trust you," she said, smiling a little bit. "You know that if something is bothering you, you can tell me what it is, right?" she asked him. The half dragon felt that it was important that Marth knew that he could trust her, just like she trusted him. "If you go saying bad things about yourself any longer, I may have to smack you around a little," she teased.

He continued walking and came past the forest. He took a deep breath and looked at his village. "We're almost there..." He said, knowing both Raina and Hitomi could hear him. He continued to walk forward and sighed at the thought of what the old woman might have for them.

Haldir looked at carrie and saw some worry in her face. "Do not worry carrie we will see them soon," he said reassurring her. He didn't want to see his freinds go either but they have to go seperate paths for awhile. It also would give haldir some time to go home and see what has happened since he was traveling. He was glad amazon was coming for he wanted to show her he cared about her. They would head east then turn south into the mountains that protected sutaria from invasion. "Alright lets get moving we need to get to the sutaria mines near at the base of the mountains before night fall," he said heading east.

Drgn smiled in pride as he saw the village he once lived in. He had been there, not too long ago, but was proud to share it with Hitomi now. After Hitomi asked Drgn how many people live there, he looked down in sadness, "Only a few now...as you can see, the few that live there are trying to rebuild the ruined village of Tenshi Kakoriko." He dicided to tell Hitomi his story of the village's demise.

"Hitomi...I'm going to tell you the story of the fate that befell Tenshi Kakoriko." Drgn said, looking up at her face. "It will not bother me to talk about this...I have gotten over it...but my village is what I wish to avenge in the killing of the Chimera monster. My journey started off as one of revenge...but I realize now that there is much more to add. But...enough about my journey...I shall tell you the story of my village." Drgn looked at Raina when she tripped behind him and smiled."

"Hitomi, I will describe the horrific night in the perspective of my own eyes." Drgn said, knowing only what he saw. "I was sleeping on one peaceful night, four years ago. I heard a scream from outside...and that one scream soon evolved into a hundred screams. I was concerned, so I picked up my sword, which I had recieved from the village elders on my fourteenth birthday. I was not the most skilled swordsman, and I had no first-hand experience with monsters or demons. As I began to run outside, my senses began to clear up as I awoke fully. I could hear crackling, smell burning wood and human skin, and I breathed in a small amount of smoke. I saw fire.

I remember gasping in terror as I watched my village slowly insinerate. I ran outside and saw my parents fighting off demons with our brooms and hoes. It was a pitiful sight, but a good effort none-the-less. I ran to them and killed many demons to protect them...but when I turned around, my parents were dead. Arrows in each of their backs..." Drgn's sight began to blur...he was starting to feel the pain again. "I remember the hate I felt...the pure evil hatred that ran through me. I slaughtered hundreds of demons, taking very few injuries myself. I had one deep cut on my shoulder." He explained as he put his hand on the scarred shoulder.

"I remember, that at the time, I was driven entirely by rage...no other emotions. No sadness, no regret, no fear...only rage. I had taken so many heads...those of monsters, and those of bandits who followed them." Drgn looked up at the sky to keep his spirit up. "I was finally taken down by one monster...the Chimera himself...the leader of the raid. He had punched my from my front when I tried to slice him. I was on the ground, now knowing my true emotions...I was terrified. He pointed his sword to my throat and I knew I would die. As he pulled his arm back to thrust his sword into my neck, a female figure jumped in and cut the Chimera's chest, throwing him off. The girl was Shiori...she was the same age as me I believe. She told me to run, and so I grabbed as many things as I could from my home, looked to my parents and prayed, and looked to Shiori and prayed, also thanking the heavens." Drgn then flopped down on his bottom and held his legs together with his arms, placing his head on top of his crossed arms. "That is the story of my village...from my eyes."

Drgn looked up at Hitomi, then at Raina. "This is no lie...not one part. And that is why I wish to destroy the Chimera...for killing me inside. Tenshi Kakoriko was the most peaceful village I knew, and still know." Drgn looked over the small ridge that blocked his view slightly, and saw his village. I wonder why my village was the only one attacked...was there some reason...something the Chimera wanted?

Drgn sat and remembered his early childhood...as a baby...a four year-old. "I can remember...when I was four years old...I had a sibling. A sister...and she looked different from me. I had inhereted the elven ears...she inhereted the ears of a wolf...I didn't understand it. But one day...I remember her being taken from my home...my parents cooperated. Ididn't understand then, but now I know they must have taken her for some inportant reason...thought I don't know what it was..." Drgn looked at the sky, whiping his slightly wet eyes, clearing his view to normal.

i look at drgn and hitomi, "hitomi, if you want..i could also tell you my story.." i go over to drgn and sit beside him, i hug him and try to comfort him,i look at hitomi,

"Ow my god im sorry" Tears where streaming down her face and she had to hold onto a tree to keep her balance she was in shock and yet alittle angry so many emotions where running though her now she didnt know what to do "im sorry" Hitomi thought for a second "You had a sister im suprised but she had wolf ears" Hitomi thought more but soon gave up her past was some thing she didnt wont to remember *sigh* "i dont know what to say" Hitomi was cunfused and shocked her fear gone "i would like to here both sides of the story but i dont want some one else hurt by remembering there past" Hitomi know to well what remembering can do

"It's alright, Hitomi." Drgn said, "I'm not hurt...It just makes me angry to know that monster is still roaming around." He looked to Raina as she sat beside him. "Thank you Raina..." Then, looking back at Hiotmi, Drgn said, "Besides, if I didn't tell you my story, you would not have known me fully...as friends, we must know each other in order to travel together."

He looked at both the girls, "We will all know each other's stories by the time we leave this spot. So, Hitomi, si with us and Raina will share her story with us...and you will next." Drgn didn't know that Hitomi had a troubled past.

Hitomi was shocked about how short Rainas story was "ok my past is different from yours" Hitomi sighed and a shiver ran up her back her memmories flashed in her mind trying to get to the lost memmories *sigh*"When i was i think 4 i do remember a sibling buts its a fuzzy past" Hitomi put her hand to her head for a second in thought "i was taken away and i never saw him again.. i was adopted by two people..... abot 2 years later they were slayed by some thing i was only 6 so its still fuzzy" Hitomi sat down against the tree and kept talking "it was a touble sight blood every where screams. i dont know why i servived all i got was a burn mark and my arm from the fire" Hitomi sat there in a small daze "i had to live alone after that but i was always afraid of being alone that fear never left me" *Sigh* "My past isnt as bad as yours i guess but i would get picked on and thrown out of all the villages i came to just because i was different" Hitomi got up but soon fell back down her face was emotionless and cold

As Raina got up Drgn sighed. He continued listening to Hitomi's story and gave her a one-armed hug. "You will be alright Hitomi, and so will Raina and I. It's just a matter of time before we get over it." He stood up as well and stayed by Hitomi's side to make sure she didn't get left behind.

Hitomi stubled getting up but soon got her balance and started walking towards the village "Drgn come on" Hitomi smiled an emotionless smile "as long as theres not to may people" Hitomi put her hands over her ears she doesnt like hiding them some times its annoying

Shiori turned around so that she was facing the ground once again when Marth didn't say anything to her, and was surprised to see that they were almost to the elven village that she had long since left. "Well, we're almost there," she told the dragon, smiling a little as she slightly tightened her grip on her weapon. "I just hope they don't think I'm here to attack them...They don't even know that I fight, let alone hold a weapon," she said with a small laugh.

After a few minutes for of flying, she let out a sigh and stopped, turning to Marth and nodding below. The village seemed rather large, lots of huts of all different sizes, but all seemed to be the same design. "I still see that everybody likes to keep things the same...No differences amoung them," Shiori muttered under her breath as she prepared to land.

Drgn turned his head to smile at Hitomi as she stumbled ahead of him. He patted her head when she covered her ears. "Why don't you want to show your ears? It's your true nature...there's no need to be ashamed." He said as he took his hand away from her head. Then, when Raina spoke, Drgn nodded, "I know what you mean Raina. The thought of Tenshi Kakoriko being destroyed is only a memory now...no longer is it my nightmare..." He walked up more to catch up with the two. He put an arm around Raina and grabbed her shoulder, opposite of where he stood. He pulled her closer and felt warm.

"We will spend half our day in Tenshi Kakoriko. Then, we must leave. We must get to the old woman's home before our trip is over." Drgn announced to his two companions.

"if we must..but first we eat..and bathe...and get some clothing.." i grin "lets go shopping i should have some gold in my bag," i pull off my back and look through it, "here it is." i pull out a bag that looks like it might rip.. "wow i have alot of gold..cool"

Marth flew down to Shiori and smiled. He took her hand. "You needn't worry. If they do hate our dragon blood, they'd be too occupied by me to come after you." Marth didn't reach for his swords, he didn't need them. Marth had a feeling that Shiori wouldn't want him killing the Elven tribe, so he had already accepted that there would be no deaths is the village today. He smiled, and began to descend slowly. Marth heard Shiori muter something, and then smiled. "They will accept differences, and even if they don't, they won't touch you." Marth again assured Shiori. As long as she felt safe, he knew that everything would work out fine.

The wind began to pick up, and ran through Marth's hair. The dragon stared coldly in the direction of a group of tall mountains. "Let's go..." Marth said. He didn't want to spend too much time in the area. The wind was warning him, and he knew what was there. "Rain will fall shortly." Marth said, trying to cover up his feelings. If he could stay away from his past, everything should work out fine. Though, in the back of the dragon's head, he could feel that he would soon have to tell the story of his past...

Shiori nodded at Marth, smiling at the words that he spoke and feeling relaxed by them. She took one of his hands in hers and began to walk towards the village as soon as they landed. "Rain, huh?" she asked, looking up at the sky and seeing that it was indeed clouded quite a bit. "I suppose that we'll have to make this quick," she stated, letting out a sigh as she stepped foot into the the village. She knew what would happen if she did, but still, it kind of stung a little bit. Probably not as much as it would have without Marth, but it was enough.

The elven people all recognized her, except for the new children of the village, who just seemed curious or scared of her. A few of them smirked and pointed at her, and Shiori's name was said here and there. There were also questions being asked between the residents about the one with Shiori.

The girl bit her lip from preventing any words to come out, and she just walked past everybody, gripping tightly onto her scythe. She saw that people backed away when they saw her weapon, so she got to smirk at this a little, it bringing her slight satisfaction. She stopped before a rather large hut and sighed, staring at the door for a little bit.

Marth gave unfriendly looks to the villagers, not because he hated them, but because they hated Shiori. He knew that as long as a black dragon was beside Shiori, the Elves wouldn't come close to her. As they approached the hut, Marth put his hand on Shiori's hand and removed it from her scythe. "Don't feel nervous. They won't do anything as long as I'm here. They believe the stories about black dragons that you once believed." Marth said so quietly that only Shiori could hear him. "As far as they know, I'm going to devour them." Marth laughed a little, and heard some of the people jump slightly.

Marth's black dragon wings retracted, and went into his back once more. He peered over his shoulder looking at the either terrified or disgusted faces. "Fools." He said quietly to himself, but loud enough for Elven ears to hear. "I take it this is the elder's hut. You're not going in alone, so just relax." Marth smiled, Shiori's hand still clenching his own.

Shiori smiled and nodded some, looking at the door of the hut for a minute more. Now she was at a loss with what to say when she saw her father. Sighing, she pushed open the door, not bothering to even knock on it and access permission. This time, she was going to take her permission instead of waiting for it and never gaining it. "Guess who's back?" Shiori asked, then blinked as she was looking at an elven woman she had never seen before.

The woman looked at Shiori, saw the wings that she hadn't bothered to put away, then crossed her arms. Blonde elven hair fell in her face a bit as her eyes narrowed slightly. She looked at Marth for a moment, flinching slightly at the sight of him. She turned her gaze back to Shiori. "Let me take a guess...You're that half blooded elf, Shiori, right?" she asked. When she saw the confused look on Shiori's face, the elf laughed and called out to Shiori's father. "Varan..."

A man came out from one of the other rooms, looking at the woman, then freezing slightly as he saw Shiori. The elf had the same blue hair as Shiori did, and that was pretty much it. "Why would you let her in, Alorella?" he snapped. The man didn't seem to take any notice to Marth. "So, you actually came back to my village, you ungreatful little beast," he said, more as a statement rather than a question.

Marth's eye's glowed red. The man had done the only two things that upset Marth in the same sentance. One, he insulted the woman that he loved, and two, the elf insulted his kind, those with dragon blood. In an instant Marth had his hand on the elf's neck, and his grip was tightening every second. The angered dragon wlifet the man by his neck off of the ground. "You idiot!" Marth shouted as he continued to tighten his grip. "You call her an ingrate!? How dare you!" Marth could never accept his people being insulted, for they were the most powerful of all the races that were known to this world. "If Shiori wished it, your head would be rolling. Her power far surpasses that of any in your clan; you are the ingrate! She has spared you, yet you continue to mistreat her?!"

Slowly Marth's aura began to cover him. There was a glowing shadow surrounding his body. Marth then let go of the mans neck, and let him fall. The shadow vanished, and the dragons eyes ceased their glowing. 'no killing' Marth smiled, as he walked back to Shiori. "But I digress, old fool. She has her reasons for coming, and if you wish to get in her way, I shall be in yours." The dragon now unsheathed a blade to scare the elf. "Shiori, if you wish to speak to the fool, do so, while he's still alive..." Marth said looking at the so called Varan

Alorella, who seemed to be Varan's new wife, let out a gasp as she saw what Marth was doing, and she ran into the room that her husband had come out of, comming back with an Elven sword in hand. "Get out of our home!" she squeaked out.

Shiori let out a small sigh, took the blade from Alorella, and broke it in half, the blade slightly cutting her hand, but she really didn't pay any mind to it. She looked over at Marth and placed her unbloodied hand on his shoulder, shaking her head some. "Don't waste your efforts on trash like him," she said after a moment. "You can put that sword away and we can leave. I don't know why I came here in the first place..." she scowled, glaring at the man who called himself her father.

"Trash?!" Varan asked, eyes widening some. He seemed to forget that Marth still had his sword out as he began to yell at Shiori. "I let you stay in this village and gave you a roof over your head, gave you food, even though you were always disrespectful! How dare you come in here and tell me that I'm trash, not to mention sick your dragon brute on me!"

Shiori closed her eyes, walked over to the hilt of the broken sword, which still had a fairly long blade piece on it, and picked it up. Quite swiftly, it found it's way to her father's neck. "You put a roof over my head? When? Only when I brought news for you about something or another, right? I always had to have whatever you didn't eat, if I remember correctly. Everything good was given to your new wife over there. You didn't even wait one year before going off with another mate, did you?" she asked vengfully, pressing the blade harder against his neck. "And if you call Marth a brute again or disrespect him, I swear I will snap you in two. I can tolerate when you bring me down, but I won't allow you to try and do it with him!"

kyu looked around " were did everyone go?" kyu felt sad inside. so she went to the forest to see if anyone from the group was there. there she found some wolves she sat down next to them and could under stand what they were saying to her. some small wolf pups came up to her and tackled her to the ground she laughed as they licked her face. she said with some enjoyment and laughter in her voice. and befour she knew it she was happy again

BIC: Drgn looked at Raina and junped at the sight of her large bag of money. "Wow...there are so many useful things we could buy with this much gold, Raina..." Drgn smiled. He agreed with Raina's suggestion. "You're right Raina...we shall first eat, then bathe, and then go to a market and find things to help us on our journey." He looked at Hitomi, "If we can find a pub or restaurant in Tenshi Kakoriko, that would be ideal at the moment. I am very hungry...I haven't eaten in two days." He groaned as he heard a sound come from his stomach. "I'm definitely starving here..."

Drgn walked - knowing the others were with him - into the village. He took a look at his home. It had only been about a couple of weeks since his last visit...but it seemed as if that visit was only to fight. This brought back memories of Huron...

"OH MY GOD!" i yell and run over to a little gem shop "i remember this!! oh my god they re made it!" i take out 12 gold peices and get 3 rings, they are magic protection rings that have the were's name on them, i put on a purple one, it gives a soft glow and it has my name 'raina' flashing through it in cloudy letters, i give the green one to hitomi and the red one to drgn "friendship rings!" i grin.

Drgn smiled as Raina gave him the ring. It may not have had any kind of powers...but it was a kind gesture. "Thank you Raina..." Drgn said as he placed the ring on the middle finger of his left hand. It shone in the light of the day...his name did not appear, but it was fun to wear.

He looked at the village more closely and found a pub. It looked freshly rebuilt. "Raina...Hitomi, we're going to eat now, okay? There's a pub right over there. Let's go and fill our stomaches for today." He smiled and marched over to the pub.

Moving up to her feet from where she was sitting at she looked to Haldir and Amazon, following as he led them off. Drgn caught the bag and smiled. "You have a very useful technique Raina...duplication may be cheating with money...but it is a very unique and good ability to have." Drgn added the gold to his other gold bag. He had some gold from some time ago.

It was nice to see that Raina had taken a liking to Hitomi, and Hitomi to Raina. This seemed to be the beginning of two true friends. Drgn went to the counter and asked the barkeep for three small mugs of beer and three large bowls of rice. He sat down and waited to be called. Drgn smiled at Raina and Hitomi. "Raina...calm down. Just take this friendship slowly." he laughed.

Drgn looked at Raina; stared almost. She has become such a beautiful woman with the elder's blessing of mortallity. Drgn thought in slight awe. He then complimented her out loud, "Raina...your hair and your skin...they have changed...they never could do that before. I am glad you can feel the effects of human life. I really like the way you look. You are very beautiful..." At first he felt a little embarrassed to have Hitomi hear it...but soon realized that it didn't matter. If he loved Raina, and he wanted her to love him back, he had to tell her how he felt.

Drgn smiled and looked at Hitomi's ears as Raina braided her hair and removed it from her ears. He nodded when Raina told Hitomi about the fact that Tenshi Kakoriko accepted all beings. "This is the only village where all living beings can live in peace and harmony together...though I feel that the unity may have been disturbed after the attack, when the newcomers bega to rebuild it." He looked over to the barkeep's counter and called to him, "Is our food ready?!" Just as he asked, the man came out with another cook and handed them their food.

"Thank you, sir." Drgn said, smiling at the man as he saw the food. It looked delicious; he hadn't seen food for days. Drgn quickly buried his mouth in the bowl of rice and gulped down his beer. "Ahhhhh, that was good! I have to eat like this more often." He was serious about that, though smiling. He looked to Raina, "Raina...when we go to the market, we must not forget to buy enough food to last a couple of days." He looked at Hitomi and Raina's rice bowls and smiled, licking his lips, but knowing they needed it more than he did, for he had already eaten. Drgn sat backand closed his eyes to relax and enjoy the peace.

Marth looked down at the blade that Shiori was holding to her father's neck. With his katana still in hand, Marth swund his blade, hitting the piece of the sword out of Shiori's hand. "As you said yourself Shiori, this fool is trash. You needn't waste your efforts on a disrespectful elf. As much harm as he has done to you, this ingrate has ruined his own races good reputation." Marth threw the sword in the air, and caught it my the blade, and struck Varan across the face with the hilt of his sword. Te elf was sent crashing to the floor. "Leave him. Shiori, just forget about this fool. He was never your father, he was only an obstacle in your life. I won't allow you to worry abou this bastard, or anything he has ever said. He's a lier who is living a lie. The time will come when he meets an untimely end, but now is not that time."

The dragon sheathed his blade, and took Shiori's hand. Without turning to face the elf on the ground, Marth walked with Shiori outside of the hut. "Now lets go do what you came to do, and we shall be on our way." Marth said to The half dragon, as he looked up to face to people who had crowded around the hut. He stared at them and continued to walk, as he stepped forward, the frightened elves stepped aside. "Shiori, we will never have to return to this place, but if you ever feel the need to, I'm sure you won't have any problems." He smiled, and looked over o the mountains. The sense of urgency came back to him. 'Have they sent anyone to get me?' He wondered.

Shiori ran a hand though her hair and sighed some, shaking her head a little bit. "I got carried away," she told Marth, looking like she didn't like to admit such a thing. Once again, she saw the black dragon turn his head to the mountians and she tilted her head in slight confusion, wondering what was wrong. However, she didn't say a thing about it. If something was really bothering him, he would tell her about it...wouldn't he?

Taking her mind away from it, she gave Marth's hand a small squeeze as she smiled at him. "Yes, let's do what I came here for...So that we can leave as soon as possible," she added. She looked around for a moment at the scared elves, resisting the urge to smirk at them, and she just made her way to where the grave site was. "I don't need this place anymore...I haven't needed it for a long time now...I don't need to worry about anything here anymore," she said, mainly to encourage herself.

Hitomi looked at the beer and pushed it away but went to the rice and started eating not hurrying but soon finished half of the bowl of rice and pushed that away also "I done" Hitomi said plainly only eating half abowl but didnt care much she never ate alot "Drgn you cant be hungry after you golped your food down can you" Hitomi looked at Drgn alittle cunfused but got over it and just sat there not moving well her ears where still moving. Drgn put his hand on his stomach and pounded it lightly. "I can eat much more if I want...but at the moment I don't feel the need." He eyed Hitomi's beer and asked her, "Are you going to drink that...or can I have it?" he was still thirsty, and was almost immune to the effects of inebriation. He put his hand on the table, near the mug, feeling that he knew Hitomi would give her drink to him. He smiled. "Raina," he said looking at her now, "thank you...for the money. Without your money we would have starved." He laughed slightly. Then, looking back at Hitomi, Drgn smiled, trying to convince her to give him the drink. His mouth had quickly dried after he finished eating, he needed something to wash it up.

Hitomi laughed and pushed the beer into Drgns waiting hand "i dont feel like drinking any thing so of caurse you can have it im not stopping you" Hitomi laughed more and smiled "im ging to get some air be back soon ill be just out side the door" Hitomi got up and walked out the whole way keeping one ear turned towards Drgn and Raina

Drgn turned his attention to the glass and gulped down the beer. He swallowed it all at once and looked back to the group. Hitomi had walked away to get air, so Drgn kept an eye on her. He didn't want her to get lost in the village. He sat with Raina and waited for her to finish her food. Once she finished, Drgn planned to meet up with Hitomi outside. "Raina...quickly, eat. I want to go see some merchandise that we can buy. I'm curious to see what kinds of weapons and charms they can seel us in our homevillage." Drgn sat back, watching Hitomi.

Hitomi just stood there aware of Drgn watching turned her ear towards them listening and kinda not smiling back as people smiled at her "Drgn Raina hurry up please" Hitomi wispered to herself arms crossed leaning on the wall waiting and thinking :what does this woman want? How am i in all of this ya sure it seems like ive known Drgn form some where before and this village i think ive been her before: Hitomi just kept thinking now

Shiori led Marth towards another area of the village, the led into a rather large garden, filled with all different kinds of flowers. Multiple grave stones were placed around the garden, and the half dragon smiled as she spotted the one that marked her mother's resting place. She slowly released the dragon's hand and hurried over to her mother's gave, kneeling before it. "It's been a long while, hasn't it, Mother?" she asked, smiling a little as she traced the name on the stone: Eveleen.

i eat all the rice at once and gulp the beer, "im done..im still hungry where are those 30 bowls of ramen anyway? meh i dont mind" i belch, i stand up and start to walk out, to go to the market

Drgn stands up and follows Raina outside. He meets up with Hitomi and Raina outside and waves them forward to the market. "Let's go. It's time to buy things!" He walked towards the market area and smiled. It was almost half way through their day, and it was almost about time to meet the old woman and learn of her secrets.

"lets go in here!" i walk into a clothing shop and find a very pretty black dress, it had silver trim and long flowing arms, "oh my god..Drgn look at this!!!"

Drgn smiled, seeing that Raina had found a very attractive dress. He was glad that she liked it, but his eyes were quickly drawn over to the armour section in the shop. Drgn walked over to the armour and shuffled through the pieces. He saw gauntlets, chainmail shirts, shoulder guards, plate leggings...and many others. He picked out a pair of black obsidian gauntlets - made with the finest obsidian metal. It was very maleable, able to bend and was flexible. This would be a more protective pair of gauntlets.

After deciding to buy the gauntlets, Drgn spotted a very strong-looking breast plate. It was also bendable and flexible, also obsidian metal. He grabbed it and appaeared at the counter with a happy face, almost like an excited child. He purchased the items and had only half his bag of gold left. He would have to spend the rest wisely...but he knew he could just ask Raina for more. He went outside and put his new items on. They shone in the sunlight...they were a victorious pair of armour pieces. His breast plate was hidden under his kimono. His old leather gauntlets were strapped to his belt, for they had served as a momento on his journey.

Hitomi wasnt interesed in armor or dresses she needed niether so she just stood away from every one waiting but she did have her eye on a long blood red dress "*sigh* what am i thinking a dress ha id probley look stupid in one" So Hitomi just stood there waiting still eyeing the dress

Drgn looked bac into the store and saw, just outside of it, Hitomi standing, eying a blood red dress. I have a feeling she wants that dress...but why wouldn't she just go in and get it? Drgn asked himself. He slowly walked toward the dress and snatched it from its place, brought it to the shop keeper and paid for it. He walked back to Hitomi and smiled, "Here you are Hitomi...I noticed that you were eying this piece of clothing...I decided to give it to you, since you wouldn't take it yourself.

"wha Drgn dont be wasting your money on me" Hitomi said in a suprised voice but knowing how stubbern Drgn can be she took the dress "thank you Drgn" She said smiling and folded the dress so she could carry it easier with out damaging the cloth "thank you again ill pay you back" Hitomi went to her belt and grabed her bag and started digging in it

Drgn smirked and patted Hitomi's shoulder from the side, "There is no need to repay me, Hitomi. I'm your friend...that's what I do." He smiled and rubbed her hair. He looked at the dress, then at Hitomi's eyes, "That dress will look good on you Hitomi...it has a feel to it that matches your personality." he didn't quite know what it was that was familliar between her and the dress...but it seemed so right for her at the moment.

Hitomi blinked for a second but nodded and smiled then tied the money bag back to her belt "thank you again" Hitomi was smiling and her ears where stait up in happiness and moving around listening to every one one always facing Drgn though "so where do we go after Rainas done with her shopping spree" Hitomi started to laugh alittle

Drgn smiled and with a smiling voice, Drgn said, "After Raina finishes her shopping spree...I would first like to go look at weapons. Then we will buy food that shall last a few days. After that...we can go to the old woman's village." Drgn looked back into the store and laughed at the fact that Raina was so happy to be spending money. He kept his eyes on Raina, facing in her direction, but said to Hitomi, "I'm so glad for Raina...she has never truly been happy...and being human seems to have granted her the happiness she forever longed." Drgn looked at Hitomi and saw a happy person. She was happy because Drgn had bought her the dress...I'm also glad that Hitomi is happy...but if she isn't...I must help... Drgn thought.

Marth smiled as Shiori hurried off to her mother's grave. He walked slowly, admiring his surroundings. 'These elves may have no values for the living, but they still respect their dead...' "I've never really understood the race." Marth said quietly to himself. After a minute or so of perambulating the large garden, Marth walked up beside Shiori. He crossed his arms, and looked down at her, smiling. His hair moving slightly in the steady wind. The dragon, though a little anxious to get moving, was staying calm. He didn't want to get in Shiori's way, she hadn't seen her mother in a long time, and she may not see her again for a long time.

Slowly, Marth kneeled beside Shiori. He smiled, feeling a strange comfort, not only from being around Shiori, but he knew that her mother was there with him aswell. The grave of this 'Eveleen' seemed to be one that was very rarely visited. Marth stood, suddenly and flew off. He left the village, and reluctantly headed towards the mounains. He had been in the area before, and he knew of the beauties in the surrounding forest. Upon his arival, he felt very unsafe. He closed his eyes, and ran through the forest quickly. Marth found flowers, somewhat somnambulantly. His eyes were still closed, but he could sense what was in his path.

The black dragon stopped and smiled. He flew up in to the sky, opened his eyes, and flew back to the garden, where he had left Shiori only a few minutes ago. He knelt beside the grave once again, and placed the gorgeous flowers. He kissed Shiori's cheek, and stood. "I'll leave you two alone." He smiled, "Find me when you're done. Take as long as you need." Marth walked away, but stayed in the garden.

Shiori smiled a Marth, but was a bit confused when he had suddenly flown off without saying a word to her. After moment, when he came back, she smiled as she saw that he had gotten flowers. She wrapped her arms around his waist a little when she saw him put the flowers at her mother's grave, and whispered a thank you in his ear.

When he went away so that she could have some time alone, she nodded and knew she should make it a fast one, considering that Marth still seemed a little bit uneasy being here for some reason she didn't really know of. "I wonder what's bothering him," she murmured, tracing the letters of her Mother's name once more. "I really don't even know what to say to you anymore...I never knew you," Shiori whispered sadly.

After a few minutes, she stood up and walked away from the grave, heading over to Marth. There were a few dried tears that were on her face, as well as fresh ones that were still in her eyes. She just kind of leaned against Marth for a little bit, and looked up at him. "We can go now," she whispered to him, her voice not allowing her to talk any louder.

"ya she does seem happy now im glad" Hitomi looked at Raina and smiled again "shes different now the arua around her is happy" Hitomi sighed and wispered "if only i could be that happy when i want to be" Hitomis face went back to normal and she just stood there waiting "Raina you got every thing yet" Hitomi held the dress protectively so it wouldnt get ripped and by the fact that it was a gift from a friend she didnt wont it destroyed

"just a sec hitomi! i need some other things too!" i grab the dress and i also grab acute little robe, i pay for them and go to a changeing room and put the dress on i walk out of the store and turn around a few times "how do i look?"

"wow nice" Hitomi said then looked at drgn he was probley drooling right now "sould i try this dress on" Hitomi held out the dress she had "lets make drgn drool double time" Hitomi was having fun now and laughing alot more

Drgn smiled as Raina walked out with her beautiful dress on. "Wow...that is...amazing." He pushed some hair away from his face and took a clean look at her. It was something he hadn't seen before...true happiness in Raina...true beauty. He huged Raina and let her take Hitomi into the shop with her. He laughed and nodded to himself as he knew that he had surely done the right thing in healing Raina with his most powerful healing technique. He was finally certain it was correct.

Marth put his arms around Shiori, he nodded. "Where do you want to go now? We still have more than a day and a half." Marth said, as his wings shot out from his back. "These two days are yours, I have nothing that I'd rather do than spend my time with you." Marth smiled.

Shiori smiled at him and spread out her wings as well. "Well, I really don't know where to go next. I do want to see if I can try and find the dragon clan that my mother belonged to, but I don't really know where I should start," she admitted.

"Wow Raina your happy" Hitomi said alittle suprised "see any thing" Hitomi just got draged not seeing any thing that she really wanted but a few things cought her eye but she didnt say any thing

Drgn looked at the sun and made a slight frown. We should move on now...we can't stay around this shop any longer...we must move on to the next one if we want to get to the old woman's village before sun-down. Drgn walked into the shop and softly grabbed Raina's hand, "Raina...we have to go to the next shop now, or very soon. Can you please hurry? I don't want to be late to the old woman's village." Drgn felt as if he was running out of time. He may have been...the woman may have been expecting him to get to her as early as possible...

"coming" Hitomi yelled back at drgn "come on Raina the womans village might have even better shops" Hitomi started dragging Raina out the door and now is standing in front of drgn "ok we ready to go to the next shop" She let go of Raina and walked out and stood bt the wall and waited for Raina and Drgn

Marth looked to the garden entrance. "Would they know anything?" Marth said, talking about the elves in the village. If the dragon could find any information about Shiori's mother, he would go back in there and seek it, but he didn't want to talk to Shiori's father if he knew nothing. Marth looked up to the sky, and just then it began to rain lightly.

Shiroi gave a soft sigh and looked over at the villagers, shaking her head some. "Even if they do know something, more than likely they wouldn't tell us so," she stated. She felt the raindrops falling down onto her and shook them off a little, not really liking the rain all the much. She did, after all, have blood of the fire dragons in her as well as light dragons, so she didn't really care for rain much or water. She could handle it, though, so didn't complain about it.

Marisusa looked up from her art work and saw the group of people....."hmmm, it seems like i seen them before" she whisperd to her self. Marisusa closed her art book and put it inside a small traveling bag that was over her shoulder. She then stood up from the chair she was sitting on and left it there. Marisusa walked slowly toward the shop that the group of people were in but suddenly triped and fell on her face anime style, and all of her stuff roled out of her bag and on to the floor.

Drgn smiled when he saw Raina beg for dog ears and convinced himself to do it. "Alright Raina...but after this we have to leave to the weapons shop." Drgn walked over to the costume shop and bought a pair of dog ears for Raina. When he got back he put the ears on her head and took some hair away from her eyes with his hand. "You look nice Raina! Good thing I got those for you." Drgn laughed a little and headed for the weapons shop to see if they had any weapons worth buying.

i play with the ears, "YAY!" i jump up and down and hold my sisters hand more, "we match we match!!!" i let go of hitomi and run over to drgn and give him a kiss "thankies!" i run back over to hitomi and hold her hand some more "Come on lets go!!"

Drgn smiled after he saw Raina's happiness. He was at the weapons shop, so he entered it. There were many weapons that he had used before, and many that he had never even seen. He walked to the swords. There were katanas, knightswords, broadswords, cleavers, and more. Many of the items were made with the finest obsidian metal. He picked out a dagger from the bunch. It wasn't small; it was about twelve inches long. It was a wide blade that came to a point. Drgn liked it, so he held it, ready to buy.

He walked around more and saw cresent blades. "Wow...I've only seen these used in ceremonial battles...I wonder if they can do any damage." Drgn stared at a particular pair. They were made of light blue steel and were very clean. They looked perfect to him. He picked one up and held it, the blade curving over his forearm. He swung it around a few times and noticed that it was a light weapon, very good for speed. He bought the pair of cresent blades and the dagger. He left the shop and waited for Raina and Hitomi to catch up.

i walk into the shop and see a huge blade (for those who watch RK you will know the big one that im on about) i see this huge blade i walk over to hit and ask how much it is "700 Gold" the shop keeper says, i hold my bag of gold and i have a seccond one in my hand, i pick up the blade and swing it over my shoulder, its pretty heavy,. "here you go, there should be about.. 900 gold there," i say,
the shop keeper gives me the change and i walk out of the store with the blade over my shoulder, "like it?" i say to drgn and i hold it up and swing it a few times "its a good wepon, i must figure out a how to use it"

Drgn instantly liked the weapon that Raina carried with her. It was a huge blade...one he had never seen before...how could he have missed it in the shop? He smiled as he fastened his new cresent blades onto his obsidian gauntlets. They hooked on well to his gauntlets and stayed. He swung a few times and felt a good confidence with these on. He placed his new dagger through his belt. He was fully equipped now, with all his new weapons and clothing. Drgn was ready to move on, but wanted to give Hitomi a chance to buy.

i swing my blade back over my shoulder, and just for a instant my old self peeks through from my immortal side, then its gone, "hey hitomi go in to the wepon store and go buy something cool okay?" i walk over to hitomi and let her hold my ...'sword'

Marth smiled, as Shiori shook the rain drops off. "Let's get moving, the rain's going to stay here, and I'm pretty sure the villagers won't let us into their houses." Marth said, wanting the leave the area quickly. He knew it was only a matter of time before someone came from the castle behind the mountains, in search of the black dragon. Marth didn't fear what the people would do to him, they were only humans, he could kill them with ease, but he feared the number of families that he would destroy.

The cold black dragon had grown a heart, and he could no longer kill. Death to him was no longer first choice, it was a last resort. He didn't want to tell Shiori of the people who wanted him dead, as he had seen she had enough to deal with, and the bounty on his head would just be another burden.

Shiori nodded some and spread her wings. She still wanted to know the reason why Marth was quite uneasy around this place, but she wouldn't ask about it. After all, it was probably some personal stuff. If he indeed wanted to be telling her of it, he would have said so already. "Let's go, then...I don't want to stay here any longer," she commented, raising herself into the air, shaking more of the rain water off of her body. "Blasted rain," she grumbled under her breath, wondering where they should start looking.

Listening to the tune that haldir was singing she couldn't help but smile a little, something seemed home like about thier travels.. But what was it. Walking to Amazons and Haldirs heels, her blonde curls shimmered lightly in the suns soft rays, the light flickered soft golden tints with in each strand of hair. Absentmindedly walkings, that familuar blue gaze of hers always drifting off to look where they where at then, taking in the scenory, the setting, everything. Never being to travel much Carrie found this more then fun, but an adventure. Her mind still clearly set on her mage training.. could she really posses such powers? With that same absent minded walk she accidently bumped into Haldirs back, tripping over his shoes a bit she fell back to the ground, laughing lightly to her own clumsiness.

b.c.c.- Amazon sighed as she trudged along the path. She was so bored and she was about to fall asleep when she heard a thud. She turned around and saw Carrie fall on the ground. She couldn't help but laugh, especially since it was the most exciting thing she had seen all day. "Hey you need some help up?" she asked. extending her hand out to her. She sighed and looked over at Haldir "Hey how much farther do we have to go?"

Haldir turned and looked back when carrie bumped into him making him laugh slightly. "Well we can get to the dwarven village at noon then from there into the mines that go straight to sutaria," he said pointing to the mountain in the east. He started back down the road wondering about things and home.

Amazon continued to follow closely behind. "Ya know, with everyone around at least things were exciting..." she pouted. She couldn't help but miss her companions, though she would never admit it. What would it be like when they had to say good bye forever? She didn't want to think about it.

"I want to fight....something.....anything...." she mumbled. She just wasn't the type of girl that loved to take in the scenery and enjoy walking through the woods. "Hey Haldir do you think we could train Carrie? That would be fun wouldn't it?" she said. She wasn't a mage herself, but the priestesses in the Amazon nation were pretty much as close to mages as could be. Besides, she wanted to do something. But then she remembered that Drgn would probably want to train her himself. She was silent for a moment, but then got another idea.

"Well, if we can't teach her 'mage skills' maybe we can at least teach her some basic fighting techniques right? After all, I am the best!" she said smirking "Who better to teach her? Whaddya say Carrie?"

Hitomi didnt say any thing Cause she was thinking about how happy Drgn and Raina was and was really happy cause Raina called her big sister "hu wha?!!" Hitomis ears went up in suprised and she jumped alittle now out of her train of thought "ow sorry thinking again bad habit" Hitomi said alittle saddend but soon smiled and grabbed the sword Raina just bought and swong it around a bit "its not to heavy but that probley cause im a demon its a good weapon once you master it you should be able to take any thing on" Hitomi smiled not really knowing what to say and handed the sword back to Raina and looked at the store and had a wave of hope in her face "ow weapons i wonder if the have chackarams not many people have those" Hitomi ran up to the clark and ask "do you have any chackarams there rare weapons and im having trouble finding a pair" Hitomi really wanted a pair of chackarams they where weapons with a blade that circles around a circler gold or silver ring and in the middle there was a handle for grabing they come in pairs and is a light weapon for speed and thoughing

Drgn smiled when he saw Hitomi swung the sword with ease. "She's right, Raina. That weapon should be a fine tool once you fully master its abilities." Drgn stood, leaning against the shop's outside wall. He waited for Hitomi to buy something from the shop.

~ The clerk shot up in attention as he saw a girl standing at his counter, wanting to know about chakarms. "Yes maddam...we sell chakarms, and very good ones at that! Go look near the back of the shop," he pointed, "they should be there." He waited for the girl to go.~

"thank you vary much" Hitomi walked to the back of the store and saw few of what she was looking for but soon spotted a pair of chackarams on a high self and jumped up and grabbed them "wow now these are weapons" Hitomi walked over to the clerk and gave him the money he needed not caring how much they where then walked out of the store and tested to blades on a wooden pole and sliced the pole in half "good and sharp i havent seen this kind of weapon in a while mine where stolen ive never found them" Hitomi looked at her weapon carfuly they looked fumileir "guess we batter get going" Hitomi straped the weapons to her back so they wouldnt cut any one or be a big annoying pest "well lets go" The Chackarams ring was dimand but it was so disty that you couldnt see the blade was lined in dimand also the rest was a light gold siver so the weapon wouldnt be to heavy

Drgn pushed himself off the wall when Hitomi came out. "Good, so we can finally start walking to the old woman's village." He stretched a little and began to walk, making sure the two were following him.

Drgn was happy to finally be able to go. The first day was beginning to change to night; the evening quickly approached. The fact that he was leaving his village almost saddened him slightly. But, the village was so close to everything, there shouldn't have been any sadness in his head, for he could visit any time.

Drgn looked up at the sky and he could see orange at the top of the sky, blue on the bottom. It was beautiful, and accompanied by a nice soft breeze.

"sorry we all took so long wow the sky its calming" Hitomi looked up and sighed "if only we had time to watch the sky but we gotta get going that woman might be angry at us for being late" Hitomi said in a sad voice and just walked behind Drgn and Raina trying to let them have time to talk with out her interupting them like she normaly did

Marth took Shiori's hand, and jumped into the sky, flying east, away from the mountains. "Your mother was a light dragon..." Marth said and paused for a minute. He continued to fly. "If I'm not mistaken, they have a shrine, not too far away. It's about a day away from here, at the top of Mount Kami." Marth stopped fying as they had escaped the cloud of rain. "We could head there if you like." Marth took his eyes off Shiori, and looked back to the mountains that were now a good 5 miles away. The dragon didn't like to talk about his past, but he knew that Shiori had noticed how strange he was acting. "If you want to know why... just ask me, and I'll tell you." Marth said, refering to how he was acting.

[Chibi-chan]

"Yes...She was light, as well as fire. Just like me, she had half blood, but both bloods were dragon, so she was accepted by her kind...Unlike me," Shiori added, shaking her head a little. Then she kind of scolded herself for thinking of things like that. Don't linger in the past! You have plenty of people who accept you now...Marth accepts you, and here you are, with him. He hasn't left you because of half blood...

Shiori opened her mouth to ask about it, then closed it again, remembering what happened the last time she tried to pry into personal matters. "No...It's alright," she said softly, smiling at him. "I don't want to upset you like I did before, when I asked about your past," she said quietly, closing her eyes for a moment before opening them again and looking at him. "I may be curious, but I won't pry," she told him.

Marth listened to Shiori, and waited a minue before speeking. "Behind those mountains is a large palace. thet are a castle of only full human blood. When my home village of black dragons was attacked, the army was sent by the ex-king of that castle." The dragon stopped. He would have to explain everything now.

"When my village was attacked, I was the only survivor. They thought that every black dragon had been killed, but they were mistaken. They left me. I was the best warrior-in-training. Me and a small class of others were training to fight the humans, for we had forseen the attack. We didn't know when The attack would take place, but we knew that it was coming. We were going to ambush the attacking army as they were coming towards are village..." The dagon closed his eyes, and remembered the day he was told of the plans. "...We would have desimated the large army, are plans were so perfect... but they attacked soonerthan we had expected. Caught off gurad we were able to do very little. We wiped out about half of their army, but the dying race of black dragons was already so small. Our village was the onl village of black dragons left on the earth, and there were only about 100 of us.

"They sent close to 1 million of their best soldiers to wipe us out. The battle lasted no more than two days, and in the end, I was left alive. When I awoke about a few days later, I saw my home in ruins, bodies of my people -friends and family- were dismembered, torn up, decapitated... It was the most horrible of sights. There were small flames still lit around the village, but there were no remains. That's when my killing spree began. I took my masters swords, my katanas... the strongest blades of the village. I smiled when I noticed that not a single drop of blood was on the still sheathed blades. My village died honourably... the strongest fighter didn't fight. Though that was the last time I smiled in 3 years...

"I stood up, and bowed for the last time to my masters dead body, and left the village, running at light speed. I was running in complete rage, never looking back to the village that I havn't seen since that fateful day. I caught up the the army that attacked us and then I let loose. I changed into my dragon, and destroyed the 500,000 survivng soldiers in mere moments. I fought blindly, didn't feel their attacks. I fought in complete rage, and when it was over, I changed back. I wasn't done there. I ran to the castle... the one behind the mountains, and that's when I changed from an enraged dragon to a heartless bastard.

"I ran faster than I ever though possible, but still it took me ten days, non-stop to get there. In those ten days the rage didn't die down... no... the rage... it only grew. I couldn't feel, I was running will-lessly. Upon my arrival, I smashed through the castle gates. I unsheathed the mighty blades, and killed everyone in my sight. All the innocents... all the women... the children... anything and anyone I saw died by my swords. The earth around me was falling apart, I was causing earthquakes without even knowing it. The houses collapsed as I walked by them, so those that I failed to kill n the streest died when their houses fell ontop of them.

"I entered the palace, where the king was sitting in is thrown room unaware of the chaos just outside his window. Guards were running around trying to stop me, but the rage was still swinging my sword. Their headless bodies fell to the ground and as did those of the other people who got in my way. The was still unaware of my pressence when I entered his thrown room. He looked at me and was shocked. 'Who are you?' Were his last words. I sheathed my bloody katanas and walked up to him slowly. He must have thought that his guards would save him, for he sat there so comfortably.

"I smiled, and to answer his question, I allowed my wings to shoot out of my back. I said nothing to him, and only laughed as he began to scream. I grabbed his head... and...with my hand... I crushed it. It all happened so quickly, and when I realized what I had done, I snapped out of my daze. I had single handedly destroyed the strongest empire in this continant. As you know, these humans grow like weeds, and before I knw it the castle had been rebuilt. Those who did see me and survived had given a description. In the last couple of years I have had people chasing me, for there is a bounty on my head."

The dragon stopped talking for a moment. "That... that's why I hate this place... those people know who I am... they know what I look like... If they saw me they would attack me, and I would have to kill them. I can't kill another... I'm a monster." The dragon looked over to Shiori. It was hard for him to face her. They killed my people so I killed their's...but it doesn't feel right." Marth looked away again, frowning. Bringing back the memories of his home being destroyed, and his past as a blood thirsty animal was not an easy thing. The dragon was srurprised that he was able to stay calm.

"I'd acept you if you hate me. Go back to Drgn and the others... I'll be fine on my own again." Marth said as he flew off slowly, heading south. He didn't know how Shiori would handle what he had just said. Marth thought that telling her would ruin everything... but she had the right to know. If he didn't she would never have known how heartless he was. "To humans... I am anathema... You don't need that stress..." Marth said to Shiori. He continued to fly away, thinking that she'd go back to the group.

[Chibi-chan]

Shiori had a hand over her mouth, to try and hid the expression of horror on her face. It wasn't the fact that he had killed the way he had. The reason she looked horrified is because she just couldn't try and think of how terrible it must have been to see everything you have ever known in ruins. Family dead as well as friends. To be the only one of your kind, left alone in the world. To her, it was understandable what Marth did. Sure, the killing of innocents made her a little sick to her stomach, but rage did that to the best of people. It could blind them, and drive them into madness unless you did something about it. That's why she understood why Marth did it.

The sound of her wings was right beside of him and she grabbed hold of his hand to stop him from flying away from her any further. "Marth," she whispered sadly, looking at him. "I don't hate you...No matter what you've done in the past, I don't hate you one bit," she told him, staying right by his side. "I'm not going to leave you, just because of something that happened in the past! Sure, a lot of things that you told me were horrible, but it happens...I've seen things like that happen before," she murmured. "I'll never hate you and I'll never leave you, even if you were to do all of that stuff over again!"

Roki was drawing a person on the side of the path for some money. She thought she heard laughing and looked around. She looked back down to finish the drawing. "here ya go, that will be 15 bucks"
The man she was drawing looked shocked "15 BUCKS! your to exspensive little lady.....i changed my mind. you can just throw the drawing away."
The man ran off leaving only a dollar. "Hey come back here you stupid cheap louser! *sigh* im never gonna get money like this" Roki through the drawing of the man like a frisbie, makeing it fly away. It must of hit some one because roki heard a big owwww.

Drgn walked smiling, knowing his group cared for him...knowing that he loved so much now. "Ow! What the hell -" Drgn turned to see a girl standing on the grass. He felt his head where something had hit him. He looked down and saw a canvas...with a painting of a man. The man on the canvas looked like the man that was walking in the opposite direction of the girl.

Drgn stopped, knowing he couldn't leave the girl alone. She seemed scared of loneliness...hopeless. It was a pitiful sight, but a very impressive one as well. This teenage girl alone, trying to make a living. Something must have happened to her to make her this way. Drgn approached her, rubbing his head slightly, "So...are you the one that threw that canvas at my head?" he laughed a little. "My name is Drgn. I see that you're in need of companionship or at least some money. You can follow me if you like. My two friends are with me and we're headed toward the village of an old woman. If you wish to follow, I will allow it." Drgn held a hand out in greeting. He had, for some reason, instantly given this girl a place to be. He had no hesitation...no regret. He wanted to help her.

Roki hesitated to speak, for she couldn't trust people any more. "Im very sorry" Roki bowed her head. " I have to go now, thanks for the offer" She Slowly turned around and started walking but suddenly she triped and fell ,letting all the stuff fall out of the bag that was on her shoulder. A cute little kittin rolled out of her bag and ran off in fright. "JiJi! come back!"

BIC: Drgn shrugged his shoulders when the girl walked away from him. He began to head back to Hitomi and Raina, when he heard the girl cry out for 'Jiji'...he looked back and saw a cat running across the field. Even if this girl doesn't want to follow...I must get that cat back for her... Drgn thought. He ran after the kitten, faster than it was running, and stopped in front of it. When the kitten tried to run in a different direction, Drgn put out his hand and scooped the small creature into his arm. "You're not getting away that easy."

He brought the kitten back to the girl, whose name was still anonymous to him. "I...I got your kitten for you. Here..." he said as he handed the kitten to the girl on the ground. He then bent down and picked up the items that had fallen out of her bag. He didn't put them away for her, but left them in a neat pile beside her, so she could put them away how she chose. Drgn smiled as he looked at the girl, then he got up and walked back.

"hey girl im raina," i look at drgn "i wonder if i still have my wings" i blurt out, "oh yeah i was evil and immortal but now im a halfling, heh" i tie my sword to my back, i acedntaly cut half of my hair off, its long on one side and gets shorter, "oh poo.." i say, "drgn i cut my hair" my eye go watery again i look kinda cute with my hair like this, but also kindof like a boy, my outfit changes to a pair of pants and a black shirt, "drgn.."

BIC: Drgn made a face of sympathy when he saw what had happened to Raina's hair. He could never imagine what he would look like with short hair; since he could remember, his hair was long. Drgn took his dagger and sighed, "I don't know if I can do this Raina...I don't know if I can cut it...it would make me sad to see you sad...but if I must, I will." Drgn grabbed the rest of Raina's long hair and cut it even with the rest. It was only half the length that it was before...she still looked good...Drgn was surprised. "Hey! You're still as beautiful as before Raina!" Drgn hugged her. It seemed almost humorous to Drgn that he was so passionate about hair.

"Hn" Hitomi turned around with a new person she always acts emotionless "Drgn we better get going before dark or its going to be hell walking" Hitomi could see in the dark as good at the day but just wanted to leave now hitomi saw the kitten and her ears went strait back at the small animal she was still turned around her ears where semy back but not strait

my eyes go extra watery "you cut my hair..." i sob "my hair..." i look at hitomi and then at drgn "lets go.." i sigh "oh yeah" i grab a few of drgns hair and i get em off "my token!" i give drgn some of the hair he cut off "just in case." i poke my tounge out and start to back away 'let me have wings..' i think to myself, "whered they go?" i look around at my back and i have wings, shiny white wings with pink stripes "WHOA!"

Hitomi jumped up because she was almost right behing Raina and those wings shot out "wha dont scare me like that" still in the air coming down slowly and lands behind Drgn with out making any sound "i think im safer here then over there" Hitomi said looking out from behind Drgn "i dont want to be attacked by wings again" Hitomi wanted to go but not go up she just wante3d to get to the village

Drgn jumped back a little when Raina's wings spread out. The wings were pink; pink lined. They matched her beauty with their own. "Wow...Raina, you've become a beautiful person on the outside...truly great." He walked over to her and placed a hand on her wing, softly running his hand along its edges. He then placed his hand on her shoulder to show his deepest sympathy for her hair. "I'm sorry I had to do that Raina...but you look very good. I will love you any way." He pulled her head close to his and smiled.

Roki watched as one of the girls hair was chopped off. she put all of her things that had fallen out, back in the bag along with JiJi. "Im gonna secretly follow them for a little while, just to see whats up.....mabey i can get some more money in the village there going to" Roki thought to her self. Roki then stood up and dusted her self off. "thank you again" she waved and walked the oppisite derection until she was out of site. Then roki waited for them to start moving so she could follow.

Drgn looked back at the girl and waved, not saying anything. He felt a strange feeling from this girl...perhaps one telling him he'd see her again. "We should keep our yes out for anything happening around us, Raina, Hitomi..." He knew this girl would stay to them. But, he had a feeling that she would be friendly.

He looked ahead at his path and walked down it, to the old woman's village. The sky was now being covered by the orange and pink of sunset...nightfall was arriving. "We'll have to camp out tonight. Let's find a spot to stay." Drgn ordered, not trying to sound too bossy. Drgn continued to walk and looked for a comfortable-looking spot to lie down and rest for the night. Day two was near...and by the morning of day three, the group would be reunited by the foot of the Peaks of Haunting.

"a nap would be good" Hitomi walked around for a bit finding the perfect spot and curled in a ball her ears out and Chackarams to her side for safety "perfect good night" hitomi almost purred and fell into a calm sleep

Drgn made a small snicker as Hitomi fell fast asleep. She must have been really tired...the evening had not yet ended. But, if she had to sleep now, Drgn would let her. "Raina...we should find a spot close to Hitomi." Drgn said as he noticed a very flat piece of ground. He sat on it and then fell back onto his arms, which were crossed behind his head. He stared up at the orange sky. "This will be a clear, starry night."

Amazon sighed heavily as she continued down the path, now behind Haldir and Carrie. Neither of them seemed to be talking, even after she had asked them questions. She was a bit angry, being someone who refused to be ignored. But she decided to allow them to be alone with their thoughts. She herself didn't talk much, except for the occasional 'are we there yets', which was either replied with a 'no just a little further' or wasn't replied at all. She looked up at the sky, noticing that it was almost evening and that it would be dark soon. I hope we get there soon before our times up and we have to go back to that mountain and meet up with everyone else... She thought to herself.

Marth stopped, speechless. How could Shiori not hate him? He was a monster, and hated himself for it. He looked at she Shiori in complete awe. "...What?" He asked as he urned completely to face her. "How... could you not hate me?" The dragon questioned. "You did hear what I said... did you not?" Marth was shocked, he would never have expected anyone to accept him after hearing that story. He stopped questioning Shiori. If she accepted him, then he would not force her to hate him. "Well, if you're not going to leave me, we better start moving. It's almost night, if we plan on finding your mother's people, we should start looking now." Marth smiled, knowing that Shiori would always be there for him. He now knew the power of this "love".

Shoiri smiled softly at him and released his hand. "I could never hate you," she whispered to him. "Not now, not ever," she stated. "Things that have been done in the past...They should stay in the past," she told Marth. "No matter what you have done or what you may do in the future, I will stay by your side," she swore. "That's something that I promise you!"

When he started to talk about finding her mother's clan, she gave a nod. "Yes...We should start as soon as possible so that we can get back to the others," she stated, streaching out her wings. "Do you have any idea where to start looking?" she asked, looking around.

Marth smiled. "And I promise you the same." He looked back south. "As I was saying before, there is a shrine at he top of Mount Kami. It's a shrine of light, and I know for a fact that there are light dragons there. It's about a day away from here, If you like, we can go there to get some information, maybe even find all of your answers." The black dragon smiled, and stretched out his wings. "We can head there, and do what we must, get some rest whenever you want, and come back to meet up with the group. We will only be a day or two late, and I'm sure they won't mind."

Marth smiled, and turned away from Shiori, looking in the direction that they would need to fly.

[Chibi-chan]

Shiori gave a nod, remembering about the shrine that he had spoken of. "Yes, we'll start there," she said with a smile, heading in the same direction as he was. She took his hand in hers once again, happy to be near him. I'm casting out the bad things from the past...Not just the things that Marth has done, but the things that have happened to me...For the most part, anyways. If I were to forget every horrible thing that happened, I would lose sight of what I need to do, she thought to herself, closing her eyes and letting her wings carry her.

Haldir was deep in thought about his homeland and all that. Then he relized amazon had asked a question. "Sorry i was thinking but i think you should teach carrie while we are on the way," he said apoligizing. "And we are about a mile or two from the dwarven town," he added seeing smoke in the distance. He started picking up the pace and walked right into the town. There were stores of all sorts like weapons, armor, crafts, clothing, and more supplies. There were alot of taverns and haldir couldn't wait to eat.

The sky was dark now. Drgn had been sitting for quite some time, thinking about life. He finally decided to lay down and curled into a ball to keep himself warm. To himself he said, "Good night Raina, Hitomi..." and drifted off into sleep.

Hitomi felt Raina behind her and woke up a little bit "good night Raina" Hitomi said sweetly and tiredly "good night Drgn" Hitomi started to purr alittle bit and streched out abit so Raina wasnt hugging alittle ball "sweet dreams my friends" she said to her self and fell asleep

BIC: Drgn dreamed of peaceful things...grassy fields, farm land, sunny skies, and many more things...still life objects that created peace in him. As he dreamed, smiles came upon his face unexpectedly.

Drgn felt a strange pinch on his leg...it was real. He got up from his slumber and looked down. He noticed a small raccoon was running from him. It was clearly the raccoon who did it. "Oh well...it seems to be morning..." Drgn announced to himself as he stretched himself out. "Ahhh..." he said in comfort as his body felt more able to do now. The sky was a glowing yellow...sunrise was near. The second day of the split-up would begin... He looked down at Raina and Hitomi. So beautiful to see them...friends...Raina has changed so much since our childhood. Drgn began to compare. She never used to want friends except me...and now she embraces friendship as if its her life. I like this new Raina... He knelt down beside them and stroked Raina's hair. He then put his hands behind Hitomi's ears and petted them softly. What a good couple of girls...such great people in their own ways...I'm so glad to have had the honour of meeting these two...
