Greetings ^^ I'm the newly-appointed moderator of this forum. I've browsed through here often enough to know there aren't generally problems, but there are a few guidelines to keep in mind when replying or creating a new topic.
- Remain on topic. If the discussion is centered on Sailor Moon, you shouldn't be bringing up Magic Knight Rayearth. Likewise it should be kept in mind that this is the Magical Girl forum. If what you're planning to discuss does not fall in that category, you probably want to look elsewhere. Pretty self-explanatory.
- Respect your fellow members (NO flaming). Your opinions are very likely unique to yourself. If you find yourself in disagreement with someone else, either discuss it in a civilized manner, or keep it to yourself. No one is to be put down or otherwise harassed. If you do experience problems with another member, feel free to contact myself or a member of the administration team.
- Do not flood a topic. In other words, I don't want to see multiple threads on the same subject. A thread on your favorite Senshi and another on your least favorite are fine. Three threads on how much you love Rayearth are not. I ask that you browse through the more recent topics before creating a new one.
- Make posts with meaning. Whether starting a new thread or simply replying to one, please make your post one of substance. I don't want to see a series of "Me too!" variety replies.
- Don't attach/include random images. Unless the image serves some kind of purpose to your words, leave it out. It's cluttersome both to other members and the board. There is a Testing forum available.
- Use spoiler tags. I've seen this in several posts already. If you're planning on talking about something that may spoil a series for someone who hasn't seen it, DO use the tags. They are [ spoiler ] and [ /spoiler ] (minus the spaces) before and after the information.
- Respect the moderator(s). I've been finding that more than once I've posted in topics to either lay down some ground rules, warn verbally, or move topics back on track. I expect each and every member entering this forum to acknowledge what I'm asking of you, and to adjust accordingly. I like to think I'm more lenient than other mods, but I do -not- like talking to empty space. I'll treat you fairly if you treat me fairly. This goes for any other mod or admin who may wander in here.
- Don't encourage the spam. See a spam thread? Or even a thread posted in the wrong forum? I ask that members not add to the issue by posting and telling the member their thread is "spam," going to "be closed," or "in the wrong forum." If it bothers you, contact myself or an admin to take care of it. If you feel you must say something to the original poster, please carrry it to PMs.
-(NEW)Details! Starting a topic on a new Magical Girl anime you've seen, or manga you've read is fantastic. However, do us all a favor and tell us a bit about it. Spoilers should, again, be left behind spoiler tags.
If I notice something occuring often enough to be added here, I will update the date in the thread title, so keep an eye out. Feel free to PM me about anything you think should be added here as well. Otherwise, keep to these guidelines and the policies you agreed to when joining and there shouldn't be any issues ^^
If you should need to contact me for any reason, send a private message or reach me through my AIM name of Reiako.
Thank you ^^
