I've read this manga up to book 15...The way I see it-either way Kamui goes it's going to have a bad end. What do you guys think?

I've seen the Movie, Series, and the Manga. I must say that this is most certainly one excellent Anime.

I saw it. THe anime that is. I saw the OVA and the series. I read most of the manga as well. It's good. Depressing end. And yes, either way I suppose that Kamui is going to have a bad end. ^__^;;

well its my fav anime. i own the movie ive seen the show in subtitles and read up toi all the manga. i love this anime so much that its my faviorte one of al;l time. its weird the movies just called x no 1999. wonder why they did that.aLSO MY NAME WING 7 COMES FROM X. I've seen the movie before; very, very sad.. ( especially when the young girl with the wolf died, ) and I've seen the anime dvd's at Best Buy a lot. Never cared to get them, 'coz I'm too obsessed with another anime at the moment, but I do hope to get them sometime ( like Christmas ). ^___^

Well the Manga is more than sufficient at effectively conveying the story. It is one of my favorite Mangas.

I have seen the movie, the anime series, and up to 11 in manga and it is one of the best things I have ever seen!

Although... I heard that they haven't finished the manga yet. Is this true?

Yup, CLAMP left us with a cliffhanger in Asuka! Grrrr...I know what happens all the way up to...18 or 19 (not too sure about the numbers). I own 1-15, and I HATE the movie. I like the TV series, but it is also waaaaaay different from the manga in some parts. (issue 13....tsk tsk, Madhouse) I am a HUUUUGE X fan; it's my favorite manga...good story, lovely drawings (but I dislike the art from 1-7 ><), and a big one for me- nice bloody drawings. Since my first big comic book thing was JtHM, I liked X from the start. It gets an A+ from me.

Yeah, I didn't like the movie either. If someone were to watch it without knowing anything else about X, they would be completely lost. XO

Why did they make the movie if they had plans for the series?

Wasn't the movie made based of the Manga? the series came afterwards, As in they just didn't think of making a Anime series when the movie was being made. I'm just guessing here ^_^"

Seems likely. I just don't like the movie coz they try to do too much in too litle time, and the story dont make sense.

I think it was a good idea to make the series regardless of the reason, coz it was FAR superior to the movie. It is just too bad what happens to Sorata :(

Well I can understand why you cried I wouldn't find it odd no one would.
My favourite character is Subaru. He's so cold & has such a horribe past. The man he admires the most Seishiro was the man who ended his sisters life :/ but thats what makes the series better, knowing the past of all the characters.

Has anyone besides me read Tokyo Babylon? Because it gives you some great insight on the whole Subaru/Seishirou/Hokuto thingy. I actually saw the Tokyo Babylon OAV before I started X, which is something I am very happy about now. I loooove the TB manga! Yay! Those of you who have never heard of it, pick it up if you like X! (though I don't know how you could NOT have heard of it... >>)

Yes, Tokyo Baylon is the prequel to X. It's the same Subaru from X, before he got all angsty.

Ok...this is a major spoiler, but...

Seishirou was never good, he was just pretending to fufill his 'bet' with Subaru at the beginning of Tokyo Babylon. He breaks Subaru's arm, and Subaru goes into a catonic state. Hokuto tries to save Subaru by dressing up in his clothes, and Seishirou kills Hokuto. Naturally Subaru is really pissed when he wakes up. The end.

I saw the movie, liked it, and then I saw the first episode of the series. I'm ready to cry, because I can't afford to actually by the episodes. Anywho, it's a very good movie and series. However, I think that the movie could have used a little bit more dialoge in it.

Yeah its one kick *** read/movie. btw theres alot about god and the old testiment in there if you stoody it closly its based on a story in the old testimant about this man who had to join his farther and fight for family honer or fight with his wife against his father or summat like that. yeah its cool.
