Okay, who's seen this masterpiece besides me? This show pwnz all! I mean, I thought that Nadesico was the be all, end all of space comedy/drama anime. Then, my cousin gave me Vandread. I have not seen a space anime better than this. Just enough to allow me to laugh my butt off and more than one tear jerking episode. (By far my favorite in that catergory is the one about Bart and Shirley)

I mean, Dita, Meia, Jura, and Hibiki? Oh man; what a trio of misfits those are.


Anyway, what's your thoughts?

Oh, and the CG space battle scenes? PWNZ!

Vandread! it is the best i have both box sets.
It is one of the funnyest shows i have ever seen and the CG Space battle are grate the animation is awesom. Have to be one of the best animes i have ever seen.

i feel so depirved as i dont know nothing of this, ive heard of it, seen pics and etc...but never seen the anime, i've got this anime list of anime to get and see and this is one of them that has graced itself upon my list,

I've seen both sets, but I only have the last DVD. Sucks, huh? Anyways, I love this anime. It's almost as good as my favorite (Kiddy Grade ^^).

Most time i like fudal japan are vampire anime over space anime but that one was asome.. i seen both seasons and it was best thing i seen in a while Vandread for a space anime

3d effects aren't my cup of tea, The story is rubbish. My God just own up! you like her, why do they have to wait too the LAST scene from the 2nd series...

i love vandread,it one of my favs,im probably the only one who thinks this way but dita and meia suck,barnettes awsome,shes my fav i also quite like paiway and the those 3 girls who work on the bridge.

the point of the series was to focus on the fact that this scenario is always a possibility of what could happen in the future. i think it displays a wonderful example of how stereotypes seriously affect the way we think of things until we actually look through them at the real "thing" behind the stereotype.

and as far as hibiki is concerned, its just a stubborn guy that will look past the pride and to what's important ^_^

i love Vandread. the doctor on the ship is just so cool (seeing as the guy who does his voice also does the voice for Spike on cowboy bebop, and he's also the star of GTO, its not surprising how cool he is.)

the action scenes were great. lots of neon lights and cool colours. the way the future should be :p
it has amazingly funny eps, and even a few sad eps that have a very serious side to em. i think the sadess ep is in the second stage series, on that planet where they make all those dolls for people (i wont say to much bout it, so i dont ruin anything. but i'm sure everyone who's seen that ep knows why its so sad)

I have. First time in Japanese at A-Kon 13. Then bought it on VHS in English. Nicely dubbed, really, other than Hibiki. He gets on my nerves in both languages....:laugh:

its pretty cool at the end. wont say to much, but the fight not only looked cool, looked fun to be in too ^_^
and the ending credits on the last ep were soooo cool, when the music came on and the thing that happened just before the credits started, made me wanna watch it all over again, which i did, many times ^^

Vandread.

Comical, great animation, good story plot.
I've seen the first series.

But being Mexican and all I see it in spanish on TV.

As it is, this anime isn't just funny enough to make my panties go in a bunch when I laugh.

But the story plot is rather amusing, it might not be one of the best story plots, though. I must admit I like other type of anime but that is my own opinion. But it's a fairly good anime. All characters' personalities make it so that they work together.

And that is what good anime is all about.
