Sailor Moon commng back to CN?

There is a rumor flying around CN that they will be bringing back Sailor Moon back to CN in the next year or so. Can someone confirm this please.

Hey, yea it probly isnt going to happen unfortunately...I always get my hopes up when I hear this stuff too and I always get conformation that it isn't going to happen. Sailor Moons contract with Funimation (I think that was it) was up in June so they aren't allowed to release any more Sailor Moon shows here in the Americas I think unless some one else does it but like I said I hear this stuff all the time n most of the time it doesnt happen...I even heard about a month ago they were gonna air it on the Disney Channel...lol

If it was coming back they would've done it already. Like with Inuyasha on Adult Swim. It kept going away and coming back. They could bring Sailor Moon back like how they did with Rurouni Kenshin. It mad me mad because we just got satellite and I was able to watch it for about a month, then they got rid of it.

Even though I don't like Sailor Moon all that much, I would still watch it if it came back on Cartoon Network because it was my first favorite anime. I didn't like it because every other 8-yr old girl dd, I liked it because I thought Sailor Moon looked all "magestical" (spell?) and stuff. As for confirmation about Sailor Moon coming back, I wouldn't know because I don't watch Cartoon Network anymore. I buy my animes. That way, I can watch it whenever I want.

it probably wont happen,gundam wing was supposed to come back in 2003 and it was cancelled,i didnt like sailor moon when it was on,but if it did come back on i would still watch it cause it was one of the 1st animes i ever saw.

The chances are not good, although Sailor Moon is a show I'd like to watch once again. More than likely, you'll have to buy the episodes on video, but hopefully, someone will have a heart and show it again...

I have not heard anything. As much as I want it to I seriously doubt it. The chances are slim. I heard a rumour that CN does not want so many controversies in what they believe is a "child's show". I guess they do not feel comfortable with the Sailor Stars series. The girls turning into boys, and vice versa. This is not what I think. This is just what I heard. I really do hope they would show it though.

Like everyone else I want it to come back. Sailor Moon has a very slim chance and will probally never come back on CN again until something changes there mind but that has to be somethiing that catches there attention alot.

on adult swim's website, they have a section where viewers can reccommend shows. there have been numerous requests for sailor Stars. and almost any request is looked into so it's definitely a possibility. But the episodes would have to be cut and dubbed first so, it would be a while anyway

last time i saw it on cn was a year and a half ago.it was on for only three weeks then it was canceled. i got so mad. i hope it does come back because that is almost the only anime show i watch.

They are classic series in their own way. And there are plenty of people who've never seen anime. Sailormoon is a good place to start for many.

I don't see the point of bringing it back onto CN. They would just be showing the same episodes over and over again, because there is no way they are going to release Stars here. People hated the Dic butchering, but I think Cloverway did even worse. No...there is no point to bringing it back onto TV... Let it die from that medium and just buy the videos or download them or something... Seriously.

Hey, I was, and to some degrees still am, a hardcore moonie. It was my gateway anime nearly a decade ago, and I was nearly obsessed with it. Back when they had only played it up through R, I had wanted them to bring it back, too. When they did, and I saw what they had done with it, I wanted them to take it off the air again. It was not BSSM anymore, it was something else. They turned it into utter crap. So, no, it's not a good thing for it to be brought back. Unless people ENJOY watching the companies destroy this anime. Then by all means, have fun watching it as they change characters' genders, relationships, personalities, and more... While they spout off such witty lines as "Don't be playin' us, Rini. I thought you said this guy was fly."

Ive heard that it was coming back but its still under discussion with CN's head honchos, they never could make up their minds on classics.My ex will be happy if they do , she loves sailor moon.

It's highly unlikely that they would re-dub it all over again and attempt to keep it more to how it was originally. So, if they DID bring it back, it would still be horribly butchered and NOT BSSM. So, it would still suck and hurt to watch. My original statement stands: Let it die in the television medium, and if you simply must watch the episodes over and over again, buy the DVDs or download fansubs...
