I think you read the story in the wrong way. The story was supposed to be between 2 lovers (NARU & KEITARO). The included Shinobu cause they needed a character that knew how to cook food. Girls are more sxy when they don't know how to cook.

I have one question I have to ask to those Shinobu fans: If ever you did find a girl exactly like her in the real world, what would you do?

Actually, we've all known that since the debate started.

We only continued it cause it was fun or it was something to do while we are bored.

Other than that, I don't think it's wrong to like an anime charecter. How many people keep posters of supermodels in their rooms and obsess about them? At least with these charecters, we know more about them other than their appearances.

But I'm wandering into a different topic here, theres one that discusses things like this in the general anime section.
