Im Creating My Own Manga.

I am in the proccess of creating my own Mecha manga. I haven't gotten it copyrighted yet so I can't ya'll much about it. But I can tell you is that it takes place in the year 2023. A global war has erutpted (Not WW3) an evil organization have over thrown the UN and taken control many nations of the world including Russia and China. Japan, America, and whats left of their allies join together to fight off this evil organization. In the proccess they creat a new "breed" of fighter aircraft, half fighter jet, half jet pack. a select few are chosen to fly these new fighter aircraft and they cause serious defeats to the enamy. but not long after the evil organization builds they're own version this new "breed" of fighter aircraft. Many bloody and catistrofic battles insure afterward (non nuclear) but in the end the evil organization is defeated and the would once again become peaceful.

Perhaps when i finnally get it copy righted I'll send you guys more info but for now that's all I can tell ya'll.

can't draw worth crap! but someone has agreed to help me in that area as soon as he able to have enough time to do it.

Love Hina- Those wacky weapons Su is always inventing gave me some good ideas, pluse the airale battle Seta was in in his plane against those giant military blimps and fighters also gave me soome good ideas too.

Good luck with your manga. I draw anime style pictures all the time but I never tried making a manga. If you make it, mind posting it somewhere so I can see it? Mech stuff interests me.

I'll see what i can do. But i have to get it copyrighted 1st and i don't have the $30 dollars to send in to the government to do so yet. (no job yet) But if i do I'll be sure send a few pictures in to show you guys what i mean.

I've seen someone on my last site who showed a pic of the cover of their manga and it looked cool. It seemed to be a robo one. I can't be sure. But how cool do you think yours is?

It an't not cute manga i can tell you that. I plan to have some blood and a little "bareness" in itl but nothing to risquie. you'll see long time best friends become enamies, an outnumbers squadron go up against the best the enamy has to offer. This is going to be one great manga.

I bet that everyone here has a desire of somesort to make a manga, but is not even remotly good enough to make one themselves, or have the money for the special paper and utensils. And for someone who is really going to do it, is just wonderful...

Well I can't draw all that well and i don't have any money at the moment (no job right now) but that's not going to stop me. I'm already taking DEAT (Digital Effects and Animation Technology) class at my college to help me improve on my drawing. I'm already a pretty popular fanfic righter on SailorMoon.com. So i know I can make a great story line. I already have all my main and sub main characters, the aircraft details, and a back ground history to it. I'm just hopping to get a job soon to pay for some stuff to get it started. I'm trying to make a test book to take to Tokyo Pop, or Viz Comics, or mabye even Clamp.

AND any donations whould be greatly welcomed. (More along the lines of special paper, pencils, pens, stuff like that.)

I'm also hoping that if I do get it published, that it would become popular enough to become an anime series. That would be sweet! :wub:

I just hope this isn't just wishfull thinking. But I have always been the stuburn type so NOTHING but God can stop me. Even if it takes me 20 years. :ph34r:

Yea I also have a very successful fanfic going on Sailormoon.com right now. Going on 20 chapters now. I have started to post it in the Fan Fic section on this site. It's called CHERON SEASON. Go read it if you'll have the chance, I have been told it's really good. PLus im in the process of righting 2 other mini fan fics. A Tenchi Muyo and a Love Hina Mini Fan Fic. Look for them in the near future.

no. not soon. It probably gonna be some time next year before that will happen. College work and looking for a job are my top priorities right now. but i promice if i do get some art done a show a few of them. ;-)

I tried to make a manga once because I had some ideas I really liked but in the end it didn't work out so well. But I created my own style and I really like it and it's pretty good. But anyways, best of luck to ya! Tell me how it goes! ^_^

Then how does it work with doujinshi? I mean, those things are sold too.

Doujinshi is a type of parody and therefore is legal IF you give all credit of the charaters and other stuff as the creation of the origanl creator. if you do not do this and you sell it for your own profit then it's concidered copyright infrengment, and you will get sued. understand?

ehh don't expect to find it in the near future, it's gonna take me a long time before i can even have the possibility of having it published. Frakly i haven't had any art done yet! But i think i may have found someone who might give me a few drawings.
