It is very plain. A simple black background with a rather... rather... not very good looking extraction. I mean, don't get me wrong, Keichi holding Beldandy is the cutest thing in the world, but this scan needs some work as does the BG. How about either an ephemareal (sp?) scene, or say a wedding arch with flowers all around? That'd go well methinks. *shrug*

it's a good start, but could use some fine tuning. I agree that the image is grainy and could use some more extraction. I also think that the sparkles should be played up a little more. For example, make some of the sparkles brighter to add depth.

I see you have some sort of a purple glow correct me if I'm worng? hehe The dark bg would work but the scan needs work and the extraction. The left side is rather plain..could be just a starry night where he's holding her on a hill or do what Xian suggested of a wedding arch. It seems like you enlarge the picture too that could be a lost in quality as well. Its a good start. :)

More than likely its not so much the extraction but the enlargement that is making it so grainey, hm, I'll work on that. I did streatch it out a lot I'll try something else, thanks for the info.

and I know the backgrounds simple and needs something thats why I asked you guys :P

bah! The one I Have is pretty clear, I'll just settle for doing a smaller wallpaper, I was at this late last night, and it was a wierd situation. So I'm just going to re cut it out, I know I'm an idiot for not saving the smaller version, and try again. I'd really like some ideas on what else to do in the background tho. Thats about when my brain shut off. But thanks wizzard ^^

The extaction is bad and you need to make another bg.This one is boring and dosnt fit

The image is really pretty (and kawaii!) but the extraction needs work, and the bg is really blank and boring.

I know the background is simple, I wanted IDEAS for the background. is anyone reading what I write? My original statement was asking for ideas. So instead of just repeating the same thing over and over again can I please have Ideas??

Seriously, this needs either a wedding type BG or a Park with like a cosmic thinger. *shrug*

out of 11 posts, 6 say exactly the same thing, 4 are mine, and 1 is wizzard giving me links to better pics. I think anyone would get a bit frustrated. You and pooky are the only people who gave me even slight advice. Everyone else just Parroted saying "its grainey, extractions isn't great and the background is too simple".

Especially when I just asked for ideas, its a work in progress. I never said it was a finished product.

At any rate... All works are... works in progress IMO. There is always something that can be changed about an image, or spiced up or something.

I tell ya what, google for stock photos, and look around at what you find; you may find something you like a lot. If so, use that as a BG. ^_^

No fighting. (and don't say you arent...)

So for the background... hmm... I think you should keep on with the swirl/sparkle theme and do some sort of a nightime backdrop. Field and stars, or maybe go all out and do a space scene. Either way, keep it sparkly.

Thanks Pookey, I appreciate your advice and I'll definatly try it. As for the thread I'm just going to close it. I could have gotten the same amount of help for less frustration had I just PM'ed you the work, haha. Hope Japan is going well.
