I'm in a slump right now. I don't know how many wallpapers I've started on and dumped simply because I don't know what to do with them. So... Yeah. Tell me what needs what.

the one issue I see is that the outline of the character is jagged. That is very typical when you have a background with a texture (like yours, or even scan lines). To fix that, give the character a little thicker outline. 2 pixles should be fine.

I wish I could see these things, I see no jaggedness and she doesn't appear blurry to me.
I was just thinking how she was the clearist thing in the wall and how it looked nice against a grainy looking background. I think the logo would look better ungrainy though.
(I didn't give one peice of good advice in this post, huh?)

There. Added a gaussian blur, added the same logo over the first one, dropped the opacity some, and... any better?

The edges of the char are still jagged :<_<:
Some glow as Pooky suggested would work :^_^:

The ledges are a little jagged and the logo is rough

The logo is rough on purpose, and I added a stroke and real light bevel to Osaka. Any better?

the outline looks more jagged, so i think it might be an extraction issue. Go over it with an eraser (yeah i know, it's slow, but it will make the edges smoother) and then re-put on the outline. I like how the outline looks though. Makes the character stand out more.

I'm gonna have to start over on the character then. Seriously, I don't know what I did exactly to it, but whenever I try to do some work on the actual scan, it don't wanna do hardly nuffin... Eh well, no biggie.
