Aye, today is cursed, because it took me FOREVER to come up with a decent color theme, and BG effect, etc. For some reason nothing seemed to work together, so in the end, this was the most I could piece together.

Let the criticizing begin!!

Ugh, get her from behind the screen, and either loose the yellow banners or change the color.

yeah....about that. I had to double the size of her picture to make it fit nicely on the wallpaper. And because I doubled the size, she looks really...err...pixellated. Which is the reason in which I hid her behind the dots. :o I guess I could lose the banners. :mellow:

I blurred her to make her less pixel-ish. Did I over-do it? I can't tell anymore, but that's only way to get her lookin good, without these super jagged edges that seems sharp enough to stab someone and kill them.

Meh, the wall is okay; too many textures and the colors clash, but it's a good start.

Yeah, use the tutorial Xian put up... it teaches how to make images less "pixelated" without blurring or losing the quality of the original image. All hail the wondrous dpi! I like the wallpaper, the color works well with the character

Personally, I think you should re-cg the image. Vectorize it, then enlarge it. It's very bad stuff right now. Unless you change the image. It's looks bad.

Anytime you enlarge an image you're going to lose quality, unless you're able to do a really nice vector trace. Anyhoo, pixellated = good, stylized; blurry = bad, messy.

Thank you Dr. Ruth. I disagree about the quality of the dress. I don't think that it's slutty at all. I think that she just looks cute.

Whoo!!! That day of rest from wallpapers felt GREAT!!! I'm okay now and I'm sane again. Well, I changed the girl to something else that isn't "slutty" for those of you(someone in particular ;) ) who didn't like the neko. :P This one is a little blurry, but the original picture was blurry anyways. I liked the neko better, but she just wasn't working out!! May she R.I.P :wub:

wow, i like it, but it seems to me that now the bg doesnt work with the character.

The background is very techy, and doesn't go well with the light character. But the new girl goes better with 'innocence'. I'd suggest either building a new background up around the new char pic, or just changing the picture again if you don't feel like making a completely new bg. Also, if you're going to go with that new pic of the girl, mabye darken it a bit...it looks weird.

She's cute, yet the image itself isn't perverse or anything, she's merely adjusting her bloomers and looks darn cute doing it. Seems to fit the BG and the word "innocent".

Just an idea for a replacement pic for ya. ^_^
