Heaven Or Hell?

Iiiiiiiiiit's 2x2 Shinobuden! For those that haven't seen this yet... you poor poor lost souls. :D One of the funniest anime that I've seen and that's hard to do since I own Excel Saga, Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi and FLCL... Yeah, that's a tall order to fill, but this one does it nicely. At any rate-- I don't think it's illegal to say it, but you can torrent the series.


Isn't that right? If the series isn't liscensed, it can legally be torrented?



Anyway, the wallpaper. I took a screen cap image of Shinobu, yeah I can hear the collective groan since screen caps are notoriously horrid. However, this one is an exception to that rule, that and I busted my hump trying to rework this bad boy. I remade, from scratch the corner of her left wing and the top of her bow. As for the BG, Ulead, PSP, and Photoshop corroboration; again. I seem to be doing a lot of those lately. Anyway, the image and BG are slightly grainy and... and... off on purpose. It's by no accident that they look the way they do. I could've sharpened the paper up to where it's nice and crisp, but you don't see to many walls that look like this out there. At least, not many good ones. ^_^

To tell the truth I don't like the bg, and the colors of the char seems too bright in my opinion

Me either... It doesn't really match the character IMO

Um... and to me the character looks really really LQ... somewhat like a screenshot...
I think you should find a new picture, or make the wallpaper 1024x768
One more thing... it bugs me how she's in the middle (I think it's just me though)... hmm

I agree with Wizzy and CandyStaR abotu the bg colours not fitting and you already said its low quality and it being a screenshot...I think a heaven scenery..would fit better but like you said it was a screenshot it does have something to do with the series. :lol: Well I I guess you could do something with the colours first. :)

I guess everybody skipped over the part to where I stated that the image and BG are grainy on purpose I guess everybody just say SCREEN SHOT!!! O NOES! And assumed the worse...

And the reason that I don't do a heavenly BG is because she's not technically an angel. I personally think this is a good background despite. Thank you for the input though.

The BG is neutral, like her 'character' is in the episode. It's neither angelic nor demonic. That and it's similar to the original scan's BG. ;)

I agree with the background. In the original, the character was in a bright, bubbly background, but in the wallpaper she's in a grainy greyish background. Kind of brings the mood down a bit.
