This is it! The last song! Once this is finished, I'm free! ... Until I decide which album to do next. Masochistic tendencies? Who, me?

dareka no yobu koe ga kikoeta shoujo wa sore de me o samasu
kokochiyoi kaze ni dakarete sunda sora e to maiagaru

Someone's voice called out, waking the girl
Held by a pleasant breeze, she soared into the clear sky.

dareka ga ne... naite iru no...

Is someone... crying...?

sore wa ki no sei kashira? (sou yo ki no sei yo ne)
mou... sou iu koto ja nai wa (jaa kaze no sei kashira?)

Is it her imagination? (Yes, it must be her imagination)
No... that isn't right. (Perhaps the wind, then?)
No one should be crying in Paradise (No, no one should be crying)
Since it's Paradise, after all (Because it's Paradise!)

dokoka de ne... naite iru no...

Is someone crying... somewhere...?

kanashimi mo kurushimi mo? (sou yo koko ni wa nai kara)
shiawase michiafureru sekai? (sou sore ga rakuen)

Sadness and pain? (No, there's none of that here)
A world filled with happiness? (Yes, that's Paradise)
No one should be crying in Paradise (So please don't cry)
Since it's Paradise, after all (Because it's Paradise!)

Does she... truly know?
Is someone... crying?

daiyon no chiheisen sono rakuen no shoutai wa...
sora wa are kigi wa karete hana wa kuzure kuchihate
fuhai shita daichi ga yami no soko e to ochite yuku...
ERU wa umare ERU wa itami ERU wa nozomi no hate
yasuragi no nemuri o motome egao de ochite yuku

The fourth horizon -- the true form of that Paradise is...
A stormy sky, withered trees, flowers rotting to pieces
This decayed land is falling to the depths of the darkness...
El is born, El feels pain, El's at the end of her hope
Longing for a peaceful sleep, she falls with a smile

hakobune ni takusareta negai-tachi wa...
hizunda koigokoro no mama motomeai...
risou no shuukaku o machinozominagara...

The wishes entrusted to the ark...
Seek each other, filled with baroque love...
While waiting for the ideal's yield...
Blindly sacrificing more and more...
Almost reaching out to the stardust...

hasamikomareta yottsu no rakuen [El] ni madowasarezu ni
suichoku ni ochireba soko wa naraku [Abyss]

If, without being slowed down by the four Elysions in the middle,
One were to fall straight down, he would surely fall right into the Abyss.

doko kara kite doko e yuku no subete wa dare no gensou [yume]?
sashidasareta te ni kidzukanai mama ni ochite yuku...
ERU wa umare ERU wa itami ERU wa nozomi no hate
yasuragi no nemuri o motome egao de ochite yuku...

Where did it come from, where is it going, and whose illusion [dream] is it?
Not noticing the outstretched hand, she falls...
El grows tired, El mourns, El's at the edge of her wish
Longing for a peaceful sleep, she falls with a smile

taihai [Decadence] e to itaru gensou haitoku o tsumugitsudzukeru monogatari [Romance]
itami o daku tame ni umarete kuru kanashimi
ikudotonaku hirakareru tobira daiyon no chiheisen--
sono rakuen no na wa "ELYSION" mata no na wa "ABYSS"--

The illusion reaches decadence; the romance goes on spinning immorality
The sadness of being born to embrace pain
The door that's opened countless times, the fourth horizon
That Paradise's name is Elysion, also known as Abyss--

Oh I'm definitely not letting this one slide!! However I just got back home after being out for 14 hours and am in urgent need of sleep, so I will get back to you tomorrow.

In the mean time, may I suggest we collaborate on SH's Roman album? ;D
I have 4 songs left in their Mδrchen album that I'm currently working on, so I'll need to start looking for another album as well XD

>何処かでね…泣いているの…
dokoka de ne... naite iru no...
Is someone crying... somewhere...?
(Think you just forgot the romaji for this line, since I don't see it in your post.)

>何処へ逝くの
doko e yuku no

>幾度となく開かれる扉
ikudotonaku hirakareru tobira
The door that's opened countless times...

>エルは望みの果て
El's at the end of her hope.
>エルは望みの涯
El's at the edge of her hope.

The two hate here really mean the same thing. Not really "horizon", but the end limit, with a more negative connotation.

>挟み込まれた四つの《楽園》に惑わされずに
>垂直に堕ちれば其処は《奈落》
If, without being slowed down by the four Paradises in the middle,
one were to fall straight down, he would surely fall right into the Abyss.

>その楽園の名は『ELYSION』またの名を『ABYSS』──
That Paradise's name is "Elyson," also known as "Abyss"--

Thank you! I appreciate the help. (That first one is a copy/paste error -- I copied the wrong stanza and didn't notice. And then when I came to the stanza where that actually should have gone, I left out the romaji... oops.)

And I would love to collaborate on Roman! Working with someone else tends to make me get things done faster. XD How would you want to split it up?

I would love to collaborate on Roman! Working with someone else tends to make me get things done faster. XD
Yay!!! Thanks for the willingness! And same here, btw, hehehe.

So the tracks in the Roman album:

朝と夜の物語

見えざる腕
呪われし宝石
星屑の革紐
緋色の風車
天使の彫像
美しきもの
歓びと哀しみの葡萄酒
黄昏の賢者
11文字の伝言

Track #6, 緋色の風車, also appeared in the MAXI album 少年は剣を, (which I already did,) and since the Roman version of the song is almost identical to the MAXI version, it'll take me no more than 5 minutes to do this one, (since I simply need to make some alterations of the MAXI version's lyrics.) So I definitely got #6.

With that being said, this leave the rest of the album an even split-up: Tracks #1~5, and Tracks #7-11. I love Track #1, so I'm tempted to just take up Tracks #1~6, and leave the Tracks #7-11 in your hands. But I'm not sure how much you like each track, or if you have any preference for any particular track(s), so feel free to object to that split-up and take up any song(s) you like. =)

I'm fine with doing #7-11! I'll try to get started on that soon -- I've got a long weekend coming up, so I should have some time for translating.

Sounds like a plan! I will get to Roman as soon as I finish the last two tracks of Marchen.
In the meantime, I guess I'll just put up 緋色の風車 to get the Roman album started.

Looking forward to Roman, just not the French lines... I speak zero French.
And I've had just about enough with these foreign languages in SH's songs. The Marchen album is filled with, (surprise surprise,) German lines. Seisen no Iberia had Spanish terms and phrases. Sometimes I kinda wish that SH would just keep their songs more homogenous, although I know it's not gonna happen any time soon, seeing how their songs have been getting more and more complex and messy in recent years.

Yeah, I speak no French either, so that's gonna be fun. I've actually never tried to translate a SH song that has bits in a language that I don't speak at all -- and it's hard enough with the languages I do know, given the pronunciation.

I've decided to just leave the French lines untransliterated in the romaji. You could TRY to actually transliterate the French lines into romaji, but it's probably not worth the trouble.

Oh, I noticed the titles of several of your songs has irregular readings, just like some of mine, (e.g. 朝と夜の物語 is actually read "Asa to Yoru no Roman",) so be careful there.

Also, 朝と夜の物語 seems to contain several lines from each of the other 10 tracks, so to keep things consistent, when the album is completed, I'll need to replace my translation of those lines in 朝と夜の物語 with your translation in each individual track, but that's for me to worry about later.

Last thing, one line is repeated at the end of every track: "Soko ni Roman wa aru no kashira?" So far I've been translating it as "Could the story be found over there?" Again, I'd like to keep things consistent again, so either you also translate that line as such in your songs, too, or we come up with a consensus?

And I still haven't recovered from the musicgasm I got from 朝と夜の物語. X3 So...beautiful and sad at the same time, especially when I was also watching the concert video.

Okay, I'll keep an eye out for irregular readings. And I don't mind going with your translation for the repeated line.
