Today in desktop publishing, Our teacher wanted us to play around with the filter tools in photoshop, and make a brosure kind of thing for a country... Needless to say, i did one of Tokyo, and i used a picture of Chii in the backround. Tell me what you think

I like the tokyo text with the colouring there but why does everything look so blurry. "Feel the magic" should be more magically looking with sparkling lights and the text should be more crisp and smooth.
As for the bg photo you used there is a bit grainy. The character can be more transparent? errr..not sure now.
Actually I just thought of something. Get a more closer picture of the Tokyo Tower instead. I see it in the picture you're using but Chii is blocking it and make it harder to see the center of the city kind of deal. hmm I am totally changing everything here.. You don't have change the bg picture.
btw, what course is this for that you make desktop publishing? Is it for a degree? just being curious :)

it looks good Holly! i think u should make the tranceparency a little more weaker so we all can see chii' face.....bring chii's face more into the picture by useing photo drew solft edges and blurr the background (tokyo city background) from photo shop or paint shop pro........but it douse look good if u put more work into it......remember what i told u before put more into the wallpaper....dont make it plain......^_~

It reminds me of "Lost in Translation" (they do a LOT of reflection shots). My main issue is that Chii's edges are very jagged. I also think that the "Tokyo" text is not needed.
